Enjoyed the plot and the comeuppance of the awful policeman. Bit disconcerting that several characters sounded exactly the same

It is more than a little far fetched not least that there are so many serial killers in such a small area. Despite this the books are well written and I enjoyed this book

interesting storyline with several twists but never really grabbed the unwavering attention and was easy to put down after a short listen.

I tried this series but will not go on after this book. The plot is okay, but has a lot of holes, and most characters are quite flat.
Worst part is the reader, though, he makes everyone sound as if they are performing on stage in a panto.

Set in gentile Harrogate this is a tale of corruption, abuse of power and privilege, and ultimately a tragic story.
