Brilliant as always!
another brilliant book, the only thing I would have changed is to have more of Dan in the book. This one focussed more on the characters in the investigation than normal I think.

Drivel from start to finish … hostile, a jumble of stereotypes…. None of them good
What a load of old rubbish. I see Ian Rankin (in the blurb) liked it … well I didn’t, not one bit. Saw the end coming a mile off. Couldn’t wait for it to be over. No more of this kind of thing please.

Best one yet
I have just listened to all 5 in a row (in 5 weeks!!) and have really lost myself. 5 brilliant thrillers but I really think the best was saved till last. Loved the twists and turns in this one. I guessed ‘who’d done it’ about halfway through but there were still lots of surprises.
I also have to say James Lailey’s narration is truly amazing. In my review of the first book I said that I would have preferred a female narrator for the female parts however I take that all back. James can do pretty much any accent!! I will miss James’s voice as company!!
Anna-Lou -you are an amazing writer. Thank you for getting me through January. I love your characters - more please!!

Fantastic
I Have binged listened to all 5 books written by Anna -Lou and Narrated by James Lailey and have enjoyed every single one thoroughly. Very different stories and crimes to solve love, how the story unfolds and how it comes to light how the crime was committed and that he manages to get his man or woman which ever the case may be. I love hearing about the detective Dan Riley's life and how things are progressing for him and how as his relationship grows with his new love Fi
Never forgetting his first love Rachel and how he is moving on after her tragic accident.
Looking forward to the next book cant wait !!!! cant praise them enough
I also feel that James reads them and makes the story come to life and he compliments the books 100% gorgeous easy listening voice.
huge fan

I really liked this series!
I listened to all five straight in a row and they were all awesome!
Each book had its own set of twists, and a suspicious set of characters.

Wow! Bloody brilliant! More please.
Continuing this series and for good reason. This is the #5 and last so far in this amazing Dan Riley Series. After the previous books, I anxiously await #6 by Anna-Lou Weatherley, along with the narration by James Lailey. Both are extremely well matched; I can’t imagine one without the other. Detective Dan Riley and his team take on an intricate and puzzling murder case. So many subplots that left me wanting more. Weatherley weaves a complexellent and surprising investigation that left me with an audiction I craved. Never a dull moment throughout with a jaw-dropping ending I never expected. Several times, when I thought this case was solved, well, I was wrong. There was so much more. Recommended? Most definitely! Worth a treasured credit. Screaming on my rooftop, “Epic, I say. EPIC! EPIC! EPIC!”
