nice story's
I enjoyed this box set, the story's all had one main theme throughout which was the threat of her ex finding and killing her, but each story also had its own mystery to solve.
very enjoyable to listen to and well narrated.
I tend to listen to audio books to settle down at night time so I need to find books that don't have very 'screeching' narrators but can tell a story and convey emotions without making it unpleasant if you are dozing off this fit the bill very well

Struggled to finish...
This was terrible! I really tried to make it through but deleted it. Cheesy plot, no real content and terrible accents. All around a bad investment of time.

Awful presentation as well as writing skill.
I couldn't bear the awful reading and the writing was JR high. Story line might have been good, but just couldn't bear another minute of listening.

Don't bother
If you have any understanding about how the world works, don't bother with this series. You will just be frustrated and dumbfounded as each book takes an improbable spy and turns her into a cat lady focused on cupcakes. I like cats, cupcakes, spy stories, and cozy mysteries, but this series added nothing to these genres.

Not for me
I couldn't get thru these books. The narrator was alright, but i felt like she was more or less just reading without emotion. The story was lacking anything I would associate with a cozy mystery. I feel like this is a very, very long, and very, very slow children's book. I got to chapter 28, and I had to stop listening. This set is definitely not what I thought it would be. I really wish these stories had more about the animal shelter but not sounded like a psa. It's not that I don't advocate/rescue/foster/volunteer at every feasible opportunity. I just thought if the series would go in a direction more toward the rescue or CocoaPuff, the story might be interesting enough that I could finish the books. Maybe this author is new...

I found myself wanting more from this.fast action and moving series of books. it's not you typical cooking murder mysteries and thats the charm of the books
