Summary

The brand-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from the best-selling author of Life's a Beach and Stuck on You.

Do movie romances ever happen in real life?

Frankie doesn't believe in true love. As relationships expert at popular magazine Stylife, she has learnt that dating disasters are far more common than happy-ever-afters.

So when she is tasked to find out if meet cutes can work in real life, she is up for the challenge—but whether it's being a damsel in distress with a flat tyre or spilling coffee over a stranger, she isn't convinced this can really lead to love.

But little does Frankie know that the ultimate meet-cute opportunity is just around the corner. As she is whisked off her feet (all in the name of her work project, of course) perhaps true love isn't just for the movies after all?

Join best-selling author Portia MacIntosh for a laugh-out-loud, feel-good summer listen, guaranteed to whisk you away and put a smile on your face.

Another great story from Portia MacIntosh

This didn't make me laugh out loud as much as some of her other books have, but I still loved it!
A fab story, with a lovely ending and excellent narration again by Karen Cass.

A lift to love

What isn't to like Portia and Karen make a great team. Really enjoyed it, so funny in so many places. The family was hilarious.....love the two main characters. It isn't plausible in any shape or form but who cares..pure escapism just what you need 😉

Books by Portia Macintosh are like going on holiday. You really look forward to starting the book. You go on a journey & you love every minute. And then it comes to an end & you feel so sad.
This book was just like that holiday. It made me really laugh out loud. The story & characters were brilliant.
I would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant

I absolutely love this author and narrator so I didn't hesitate to buy the audio and ebook. I'm glad I bought both because when I couldn't listen, I could carry on reading it. Portia Macintosh's stories always make me feel good, I love the characters and the storyline, I would love to revisit these characters and see how their journey continued.
I would definitely recommend this!

Seemed a bit rushed. Not my fave but a nice chilled listen.

Also quite predictable
