This book was great! I had various moments where I laughed out loud and found certain bits of the story really amusing.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance and comedy. Will certainly be reading more of this authors books.

It’s a light, easy book to listen to. Proper, fluffy chick lit.
I like Portia’s writing, though every single book of hers seems to have the words ‘let’s do it/this’ in it somewhere, and the characters always ‘puff air from their cheeks’ at some point too. But other than that they’re sweet and funny and charming. I didn’t see the twist in this one so that kept things interesting towards the end.
Karen Cass does a good job of narrating too.
Overall, if you’re after something light and fun, and festive (very Christmassy vibes), then I’d give it a go.

Really enjoyed this book. It was a good story with a few twists and funny as well. Portia is one of my favourite authors and Karen Class always narrates them so well. I didn't want it to end. Looking forward to the next one. Would definitely recommend.
