About this listen

Terra stands upon the brink of Unity. The armies of the self-proclaimed Emperor of Mankind have waged their bloody wars to bring the whole planet under his rule, crushing all traces of outlawed religion and worship from the face of this now secular utopia.

But even the mighty Thunder Warriors cannot cow Uriah Olathaire, last priest of the Church of the Lightning Stone, as he goes about his empty, hollow rituals - and only one last and thoroughly unexpected visitor can bring any hope of a possible reconciliation.

Another insightful look into the mysterious back story of the BIG E.

An entertaining tail of the last church before the commencement of the great crusade.

Another great performance from Johnathan Keeble and 90 minutes of lore and back story to one of the most mystifying characters in 40K.

Worth a listen.

The story of the Emperor continues

The Emperor is very edgy in this one, partly because of the voice acting but mostly because of the story.

Even though its a short story from the tales of heresy it is still one of my favourite books of the horus heresy, truly enjoyed it

This is a nice little interesting short story. I enjoyed it more then I thought I would. Just bare in mind its very short so I wouldn't have spent a full token on it had I realised haha. I enjoyed it either way so not a waste for me really.

Nice little Short story

Expensive for what it is but it’s worth while as it has some really great moments that expand on the character of the emperor and even one bit that gave me a good laugh.

Fantastic short story and insight into the Emperor

The Last Church is a fantastic short story from Graham McNeill. It is often found that, in the midst of many novels depicting war and grand Primarch duels, that readers enjoy coming back to small stories depicting relationships and conversations between interesting characters. The Last Church is no exception. Well done Mr.McNeill!

End of an Era
