Very powerful
I think the problem with Christians is that they have no clear understanding of who God is. This small work does much to correct to.

Encourage & Challenge
What you want in any book that challenges your heart! This book draws on the Bible and on many other authors who comment on Bible! It is a book of encouragement to what you already may have received from God the gift of salvation and challenge to those who want an interested to go deeper with Jesus! The discussions are both fair and the conclusion is good sound theology!
I would highly recommend this to all Christians from those who have just been saved, read it with another brother or sister, or those who are more mature to chew over these things as we encouraged to do so in Hebrews 6! I hope you enjoy the listen and make notes as you go!

Dense book for meditation
Tozer is brilliant and knows his stuff. However, this book took me months to listen to. I stoped regularly to reflect, almost as if needing to pause while eating a banquet.
Not for the faint-hearted.

Once again, Tozer's Message...
is to those for whom the divine has become a playground of church socials, sing-a-longs and comforting, warm and fuzzy little sermons about Ruth and Naomi, for those who have long left behind the deeper and harder seekings after goodness, truth and justice in its purest and most challenging form. Tozer's message is one that always needs to be heard and heeded.

Rather buy the book
The narrator of this wonderful book made it impossible for me to listen to more than 3 chapters. His over-the-top reading became so irritating that I could not concentrate on the deep insightful message at all. I'll rather buy the book and read it / enjoy it.

Poor narration
First of all this is a 5 star BOOK - a classic that belongs on every Christian's bookshelve.
The 1 star rating is for the narrator. I can't even listen to him. His voice and delivery are the
audio book equivalent of figernails on a blackboard. He is TONE DEAF to the subject matter of
book he is reading. His strident, frenetic reading is just plain annoying, to the point that, as I
said, I cannot even listen to it.
