Summary

Do you ever wish you had an identical twin? I bet you think it would be like having a built-in best friend. You might imagine that the two of you would spend all of your time together, finish each other's sentences, and share a special, secret bond that only the two of you can truly understand.

For me, the reality of being a twin is far removed from that wonderful fantasy. Despite our almost identical appearances, Nixie is better than me at everything. She is the smart one, the pretty one, the athletic one, the one with a magnetic personality, the witty one - the list goes on and on.

I have gotten used to it, but that doesn't mean I like it.

A couple of years ago, I moved down to the Florida Keys because I wanted to escape from my sister's shadow and begin building a life of my own. I think I have done a great job of it, too. When a tragic twist of fate suddenly pulls me back into Nixie's shining orbit, I feel like my newly found confidence and autonomous lifestyle are at risk.

Am I ever going to find someone who will choose me over my twin? You can listen to my diary today to find out.

Great ending to the trilogy!

Do you keep a journal? I love this series by Ann Omasta. Hearing the inner most thoughts of these women, writing things we all think is so refreshing. Trixie is a little different from the first two in the series. She is not as easy to relate to. I am not sure why, but she still was entertaining. She is a twin, and feels inferior to sister. But an auto accident brings her home to her sister’s bedside and some time to write her feelings. There is a lot of learning and growing in this one. She opens up about her feelings for her sister, Nixie and her budding relationship with Diego. We go on the ups and downs of her life, and see her perspective on life. With a fun ending, bringing Fern, Mariana together this series ends with a wonderful happily ever after. Narrated by the talents of the author, Ann Omasta gives her spin on the story just as she heard it as she wrote it. She has a way of bringing her works to life and I love that she lets us hear it as intended. Another fun and relaxing listen!

Fun

Ann Omasta is the queen of hilarious book banter. It’s so much fun to read and her narration had me laughing out loud. Trixie’s storyline is cute and the characters are vibrant. Great book...a little too explicit for my preference.

Great Read

The Keys to My Diary: Trixie was another great read by Ann Omasta. Trixie has always lived in the shadows of her twin sister Nixie. Trixie moved to the Florida Keys to escape the shadows that she lived in. Unfortunately Nixie has an accident and Trixie goes to help her family as much as she can. Trixie wants to find someone who chooses her over her sister. She never believed that she would find a man like that while at her sisters bedside. I can't wait to read more by Ann Omasta.

so unrealistic

I enjoyed aspects of this story but overall I wasn't a fan. I liked that the story was told through diary entries but I didn't like that the main character made out with a man in front of her sister who was in a coma. I also thought the ending was so unrealistic, I know it's romance but that wouldn't happen. 3 stars.

Looks are not all to a great personality.

The last of this stunning series, we get an insight into the insecurities of having an identical twin, whom, in your mind is smarter and more beautiful than yourself.
This writing down your thoughts and feelings may actually be a cathartic habit, allowing those feelings and sentiments that bug us, on a continuous loop, in our brains, have some out, onto the written words, to allow us time and considered options on what we feel and why.
Yes, I enjoyed each book in this series, and enjoyed how each woman took charge of her life, and made it so much more.

Read the private pages of her diary

I was given a free copy of this Audiobook In exchange for an honest review. A sunny Florida romance and a sisters Relationship documented in a diary. Can tragedy turn into happiness and love bloom in an unexpected place. This book reminds me to never give up and never stop trying. A good read.

Good Narration & Story

Interesting to read someone’s diary, and see how they change. From being a twin, she seemed almost invisible. A diary, friends and love changed her, and settings goals. Good series and good narration.
Given ARC audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
