I am a fan!!!

I have read this book a few times since it was released a year ago. Every time I read it there were feels! All kinds of feels. Liam made me so angry that I wanted to scream on numerous occasions! This is basically an enemies to lovers story, but that it really because Liam has made it his mission to make her hate him that way he won't be tempted to try to be with her....until he makes the mistake (or was it) of having her go with him to his hometown to work with him while he is also dealing with a death in the family. I didn't ugly cry, but it did pull out a few tears.
The narration! FANTASTIC! Holy goodness! Since I had read the book a few times already I was not sure how they were going to measure up to how I heard Kendall and Liam in my head! PHENOMENAL! THEY NAILED IT!!! The PERFECT Kendall and Liam! There were things that shocked me when I heard them despite the fact that I knew it was coming! Listening to Ariel Royce & Christopher Rourke had me feeling everything all over again.... and even added a few more feels to the mix with their delivery! I really enjoyed them and I look forward to hearing more from these 2 in the future!

Great story

Aubrey Bondurant is a relatively new author to me I am so glad I found her. This is the first book in her new series and if this one is anything to go by, she is off to a flying start.
 
Liam Davenport frustrated me so much at times with his jerk like behaviour. He is arrogant and totally in control, until Kendall Tate barrels in to his life. He is determined to ignore the attraction that sizzles between him and his assistant and yet despite himself he finds it increasingly difficult.

I really loved Kendall, she is such an amazing character that I found I could relate to with ease, whilst Liam grew on me and was certainly swoon worthy.
 
The chemistry between Liam and Kendall is intense, whilst their banter is humorous. I really was cheering for these two to get their happily ever after. If only Kendall can get beyond the surface to the real Liam.

Miss Understanding was one heck of a read. There were moments of humour that brought a smile to my face and yet there was some drama sprinkled throughout the story which made the story feel realistic.
 
This is a well written, heart warming love story which was had me captivated from the first to the last chapter. Both narrators Ariel Royce and Christopher Royce are new to me and that did a good job in bringing the story to life for me.

I’m new to Aubrey and enjoyed this book. I love how she builds up the characters. Ariel Royce & Christopher Rourke did an amazing job at narrating

Slow burn

Liam Davenport is a workaholic who has his dream of making partner in his sights. He doesn't want or need any distractions which is exactly what his assistant will be.

Kendall Tate is the lucky lady that gets to be the assistant to Liam. He may be easy on the eyes, but he is a jerk. It seems that no matter what she does it is never good enough.

This was a a good story. There were a few times where I felt kind of fed up with Liam being a jerk, but once we got a glimpse into his background it completely changed my way of thinking. By the end of the book I felt that these two had balanced each other out very well.

Miss Aubrey Bondurant you just made yourself a new fan!! Some tropes have been done A LOT, enemies to lovers are one of them BUT Miss Understanding is sooooo freaking good I didn't mind it at all.
And don't get me started on the Narration, both these narrators are new to me and I'm definitely going to look for more books by them.
The characters are AMAZING but I have to admit that I was screaming at Liam a couple of times and I might have called him a few bad names. That just shows you how good the writing is..... when you have emotional outbursts towards a character!!!

Miss Understanding: An Enemies-to-Lovers Office Romance is the first book in The Miss Series by Aubrey Bondurant. This is not my first book I have listened to by this author, but it is now my favorite. It was a real pleasure to listen to and had me laughing out loud throughout. The characters are well developed and the Sizzling chemistry is HOT. Kendall is just hilarious with her lists and straight shooting sarcasm. Liam is a bit uptight at the beginning, but they fit together like a puzzle. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series.
I’m not sure if I have listened to either of these narrators before, but I was blown away with their performance. Their voices blended well together and they really brought this story to life. I would give this book TEN STARS if I could!

I absolutely loved this story of Liam & Kendall. At first Liam’s cold approach toward Kendall was a bit icy, but then Kendall started to show Liam the good he has in him. While the story unfolds. You understand why Liam is so cold & driven to perfection. No doubt these two together made for some very hot scenes once they both let their guard down especially Liam. Definitely 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Steamy Romance

Miss Understanding by Aubrey Bondurant is the first book in the Miss Series. This is an 18+ story because of the sexual nature.

Kendall and Liam have a less than stellar working situation. He's hot, arrogant, and her boss. Kendall isn't happy with her job or her boss, but that doesn't mean he's not undeniably sexy. Can she survive a week with him, or will she end up without a job?

I really just hated Liam at first, but there is always something so alluring about the arrogant ones. Liam's character is just written so well that you can't help but like him as you get farther into the story.

Great listen! Definitely excited to check out the rest of the series!

LOVED IT!!!!!

I….LOVED….THIS…BOOK!!! The story was really great and it was very well written. She did an excellent job of making you feel what the characters were feeling. I loved Liam and Kendall. In the beginning I was totally adding to her list of ways to hurt him but at the end I found myself so happy about how it turned out. I give it a 20 out of 10. Definitely a great read!
