Summary

This book is a cross genre historical fiction of the journey of a large 16th century sapphire. It contains several intertwined fictional genres from romance, eternal love, criminal intrigue, conspiracies and murder plots. It contains stories of treacherous pirates and romantic mariners coupled with a woman who never being to sea saves a ship from attack. It moves into the story of two women, one elite Saudi Special Security Force soldier and the other a civilian war planner defending a single tree in the northern region of Saudi Arabia from Iraqi invaders following ancient aquifers. Finally, the novel finishes up in Chicago and finally back to Riyadh.

The book is tasteful, sincere and contains numerous heart warming situations. It has a wide range of twists and surprising turnarounds, it is filled with humor, suspense and sentimental moments that bring the stories to life. The book makes for great listening to help unwind after a long day. Each chapter ends, although sometimes sad for the character, on a positive feel and message.
