INTRODUCING YOUR NEXT OBSESSION.....

THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS HAYES CAMPBELL.

To the media, he's the enigmatic front-man of a record-breaking boyband.

To his fans, he's the boy of their dreams.

To his label, he's gold-dust.

And to Solène Marchand, he's the pretty face that's plastered over her teenage daughter's bedroom wall.

Until a chance meeting throws Hayes and Solène together....

The attraction is instant. The chemistry is electric. The affair is Solène's secret.

But can it really stay that way forever?

Well Done Robinne Lee

The warmth and ease of Robinne Lee voice makes the story that much more interesting. RL switches between characters effortlessly making you believe more than one person is narrating the book. Love the story. Love the writer. Definitely recommend.

P.S RL - Why? 😩😊

A book about Harry Styles! 😂😂😂

Loved it! Fun and easy to listen. A holiday romance but prolonged. Exactly what I needed to distract me from work, being locked at home and not allowed to meet friends and travel. This book is not for serious book readers, but someone looking to break the day and just have a bit of a laugh. Enjoy! 🙌

Fun trashy with some salient points on modern pop culture

This is a wonderful light hearted read, I found myself engrossed in the tale of Solene and Hayes.
Is this a literary masterpiece - no. Are you going to have to work hard to get used to the awful accents - yes. But there are really great elements of the performance too, mainly when Robinne is portraying her female characters.
The inspiration from real life pop culture is obvious and not subtle, but there are some really salient relevant and interesting points made about the role of women in society and female desire, from 13 upwards. Everyone has obsessed about who Hayes is based on, which proves the authors point about older women being invisible and the gaze being focused on the male - even when the book is written by a woman and has a female lead. Overall, I think it will stay with me, but more as a reflection on society rather than an excellent original piece of literature

Addicted to The Idea Of You

Having already read the book multiple times I decided to try out the audio book and I’m so glad that I did. It just elevates an already incredible novel being able to hear it read by the author.

This story is so gripping. You fall in love and lust right along with the characters whilst travelling around the world with them. It’s pure escapism and fantasy and it guts me every time I reach the end. It’s smart dialogue, it’s hot love scenes, it’s a book I will keep coming back to, that seems to have ruined all other books for me because nothing else compares. I recommend you read this book (or listen, or both) and prepare to be addicted. This is one of those books that stays with you a looooong time beyond the last page.

Amazing!!

This is one of those very special books that when you reach the end it makes you sit back and say wow!! I won’t forget this book, this love story that you root for, that you fight for with them every step of the way. It’s not the ending that I would have liked but that’s love whether it’s fiction or not and this book is a good reminder of that.

Awful.

Dreadful, I struggled to finish it. I zoned out on numerous occasions, but didn't miss any plot twists, not sure there was a plot. I only ploughed on with because it was a Book Club choice.

Surprisingly Good

At first I thought this was far fetched fantasy in the same vein as 50 Shades, but this book is more that that. It asks important questions about youth, social media, fame and women’s sexuality. It is also an enjoyable read. Robinne Lee narrates with real expression and at times I felt like I was listening to a play. The end result is a touching love story which stays with the listener
after the last words are spoken.

No no no no no no

I completely loved every page of this book. The raw intense love story had me hooked! It's intense! It really does transform you into the characters. I adored Haze. I was hanging on to the very last min hoping it wasn't going to end the way it did! Then it ended! I felt absolutely gutted. If this is a standalone and you want to be gutted at the end of this book thinking no no no no no no no no no no no no no
Then it's for you! Utterly disappointed.

Get the tissues

A love story that ends as it begins. Cruelty of age circumstance. Real and angry and challenging you could feel it all.
For me a desperately tragic story.

It's a complicated love story

I enjoyed Haze character. He was growing and evolving through the story. We got why Solene fell for him. So it had a good start and a good writing, but it felt to me that the author put too much angst, even when it was a bit forced.
