Summary
There’s a very particular reason why Chloe Sinclair has not met her Mr Right - he doesn't exist. And the reason he doesn't exist is because the right couples in history did not get together. It now falls to Chloe to travel back in time to matchmake like her love life depended on it....
Each of Chloe’s trips revolves around the iconic Hotel Del Coronado - part historic landmark, part Californian fairy tale. Here she experiences the Victorian era, the Roaring '20s, the fabulous '50s and the '80s karaoke party of your dreams! A very special friendship has guided her to this point, but the adventures go way beyond Chloe's wildest imaginings, and she soon learns that when it comes to love, it's all in the timing....
Critic reviews
"Fast-paced, enthusiastic, good-hearted...a wise and witty read about the secret desires deep with us.” (Marie Claire)
“There's something about Belinda Jones's writing that takes you away to whatever beautiful setting she's evoking and holds you there right until you reach the last page.” (The Daily Express)

Romantic escapism in the Hotel Del Coronado
I read this book in one day and was overjoyed to see it being released as an audiobook.
The book may be centred around Chloe’s love story but it provides multiple glimpses into love stories over the years of the Hotel Del Coronado as well as being a love story to the hotel itself.
The protagonist feels real and likeable and I felt invested in the stories of the characters from different trips back in time as they came to life. Their tales are interwoven with events in the present to touch upon love, self-fulfilment, adventure and female empowerment.
I enjoyed the story as well as the history of the hotel, which remains fascinating throughout. I can’t wait to visit Coronado!
This book manages to be both fantastic fiction and a travel guide in one. The narration is well paced and the accents are matched to the characters perfectly. I would definitely recommend this book!

Extremely boring and fragmented
I love the narrator so I gave it a shot but I couldn't even finish it
