Summary
Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales. Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels. Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland. My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her. Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias. By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings. Not when we're destined to ruin them.
Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired. Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job. The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care. At least not until I discovered his secret. It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything. Especially not us.

I liked it more and more
This is well worth the listen, I don’t want to give anything away so just listen already!
The male voice actor was as good as always. The female voice actor was a cross between Rosalie from Twilight and an AI, it was weird for her first chapter but I quite liked it after establishing her character a little more. Also, her male impression wasn’t annoying which I appreciate.
Enjoy all, I’m off to debate reading the second book or waiting on the audiobook…

too vanilla for me
I wanted to like it, really, but is soooo boring. Nothing stands out from all the others and I'm struggling to finish it. The male performance it's the only reason I'm still listening

I like how they narrated the story with such emotions. This was my first audiobook and it was incredible. I listened to hours of it each day.

A wonderful read/listen ☺️
I loved revisiting this story in the audiobook format. Posting my original review for the paperback below as my thoughts haven’t changed. The only thing I’d say is that although I love Aiden Snow as a narrator I think a voice actor with a less deeper voice should’ve been used since Rowan is the youngest brother, aside from that everything else was great!
Dreamland Billionaires is a series focussed around three brothers who’s grandfather has passed away but has left them them an inheritance each with conditions to fulfil in order to receive it. Brady Kane founded Dreamland, a fictionalised version of Disneyland. Rowan is tasked with renovating a popular ride at the park which also enables him to tap into his creative side that he’s spent many years suppressing. While he tries to secure his role as CFO he also works alongside Zahra Gulian, along the way their relationship goes from bickering and witty banter to something much deeper. There were times where Rowan frustrated me with his indecisiveness, but seeing him put effort into forming a relationship with Zahra was really interesting. His character progression was written so well as the change in his attitude from start to finish really showed a lot of growth considering his upbringing following his mothers death. Although all his actions weren’t justifiable I loved how things worked out in the end and that Zahra was the one who helped him change his ways. The grumpy-sunshine trope worked so well between Rowan and Zahra’s characters, their traits balanced each other out.

Good story
It is exactly what you want from this type of book and I do love the rich grumpy emotional unavailable sexy man meets the kind quirky girl that gets under his skin. The only one that can make him feel something….. No but is truly exactly what you think it is. And it is written very well I would say. Spicy also

SO GOOD!!
Wow, this book was unexpected.. I know it's been recommended by tons of people but I didn't think it would have the heart that it did. These too have such a fun dislike to lovers story and our MMC Rowen is an absolute simp for her and he doesn't even realize it. And when he does he gets pissy. it's chalk full of delicious grumpy x sunshine goodness. It's hilarious, well written and full of heart. So glad it's finally on audiobook!!
Things to expect
✅ He's my boss trope
✅ Grumpy x sunshine
✅ Banter
✅ Taking care when sick
✅ Dislike to lovers
✅ Dual POV
✅ HEA
Story:
This book is about a disney-like theme park and the family that started it. The grandpa started the park and has died and leaves his three grandsons letters with specific instructions on how to gain their shares of the company. If they fail to meet the guidelines their shares go to their shit father. So they're motivated. The MMC is told that he needs to find a way to improve the park and is told he has six months to identify issues as the new director of the park before coming up with a plan and presenting it in front of a board of people secretly selected by his late grandfather. He has a harrowed past which has left him distrustful and guarded and his idea of magic is watching the stock market. So being forced to move and run this park feels like a punishment. That is until he meets an employee at the park with way too much sunshine and a quick wit.
Enter our FMC Zara. Her whole family has worked at the parks for as long as she can remember. She finds so much magic in the park and was secretly working with the late grandfather before his passing. He took her under his wing and encouraged her dream of being a park creator. But other events stole that dream from her and dashed her self confidence. So when she ends up unknowingly meeting Rowen at a staff meeting, she gives him a piece of her mind about how poorly upper management has been running the park. Too bad she didn't realize he was the new director till after she opened her mouth.

I’ve been ROBBED!
Whoever recommended this book to me…. I want my time back, I want my money back, and this series is coming off my TBR!
This series was so over hyped and I was GREATLY disappointed…
Where do I even start?
The characters were immature
Instalust (to cover up a lack of story/relationship development)
FMC lacks depth and the potential for her backstory was there but fell short.
The Disneyland comparison was a little cringe. It’s really not that bad but I personally did enjoy the theme park backdrop.
This was just a no for me. I’m going to pass on the rest of the series too.

Didn't live up to the hype
I read this for my book club and it was not that good. The spicy parts were great in my opinion but I found myself rolling my eyes and cringing throughout the book from Zara's narrator and the terrible writing. It gave me cringey disney adult vibes the entire time lmao. The story was boring and I wasn't in love with the characters. This book was unmemorable.

Cute with really good narration
The story is so overwhelmingly filled with *not Disney* that I was two second away from laughing at all of the parts that dealt with the theme park. The characters were great though and the narration was *chef’s kiss*

The perfect balance of spice and romance
I couldn’t get into it at first but by chapter eight I was hooked. I had just read the Inheritance Game where four grandsons are getting a shock from there grandfathers will. So as I was reading I had that book in the back of my mind but by chapter eight I knew it would be a whole different story. I’m glad it wasn’t just one of those beauty and the beast retellings with a grumpy male main character and a sweet women trying to find something good in him. The romance is spicy and intriguing, the characters have depth and back story that all ties who they are altogether nicely. I was smiling at the playfulness of the characters banter and how each of them saw things in two different ways. The cynic and optimist. I’m very interested to see how the next brothers story goes.

Want a HOT but sweet romance. Read this.
I literally Googled Aidan Snow after hearing this story. God da*nnnn that voice!! Lol!
This is a lovely modern day "fairy tale." Because no man does this much for the love of a woman anymore. (Not bitter. Just realistic. 😉) A hot billionaire who goes for a girl who looks like she dresses from Good will?? Come on. Regardless. 😄This book made for a nice escape from reality and helps one hope. The love scenes are delicious, and you don't get tired of it on every other page. While I, personally, don't want my hair wrapped around a man's hand like a rope while we..... to each her own! It was hot to read!
