About this listen
A fleet of 40 worldships carrying the last remnants of humanity on a mission of survival trying to find a new home...but what if a new planet were found - would it bring happiness and hope - or start a war that would rip the fleet apart?
Coming from the poverty-stricken Elfor settlement on the Humility, Master Thief Yasmine Dufont just wants a way off the stinking ship and to put a whole lot of distance between her and gangster ex-boyfriend, Dimitri. But when a dream score of credits goes disastrously wrong, she’s left on the run with a hidden code that everyone seems to want to get their hands on.
Addict Detective Zhang Woo will do anything for his next fix. Distracted by his insatiable needs, broken by the murder of his last lover, he knows he’s on a downward spiral but has no idea how to stop it, and even if he could recover the stolen navigational code his boss wants so badly, should he?
Breaking new stories has always been Kristi Carter’s passion - but there’s something not adding up about the report she’s currently covering. Digging deeper could have repercussions not just for her career but for her very life....
As the tensions rise between Elfors and the anti-Elfor movement headed by the sadistic Captain Pierre Jefferson, everyone knows the breaking point will be reached soon. Humanity may well have been saved from complete destruction - but what cost are they willing to pay to secure their future?

Exciting story and fabulously performed.
I loved listening to this book, great humour and super characters. I have listened to over 250 stories and Colin Morgan is the one of the best story tellers out there!

Phenomenal
Let me be clear - I am a massive fan of R R Haywood work, the best living author in my opinion.. I used to look forward to each new Terry Pratchett book year on year, until he sadly passed leaving a huge void in many people's lives. Now it’s Mr Haywood that fills that gap and we'll deserves his increasing success into the mainstream.
Now to this book - and it's narration.. After the excellent first book in this new series, that I read not listened to on audible, my expectations were very high indeed for this new book.. at the opening words my heart dropped - a guy reading a story with such strong female characters- and with an Irish accent to boot? I almost turned it off before it ruined my own imagination of the characters. How utterly wrong I was. Colin is nothing short of astounding. A perfect match in sheer scope and depth to match the authors His range of character accents, his expression and mastery of switching from narration to character speech, his jumping from one character accent to another and another and another - just mind blowing.
The best thing I have ever heard on any media.
P’s - Mr Haywood Please please pretty PLEASE give us mere mortal Undead addicts just one more book.. please!?!?!!

Another excellent story
Ignore the comments in the amount of sex in the story. Yes there is plenty in there but there is still a great story written. The characters brought to life through the tone and passion of the narrator.
You will end up being part of that world and fighting with the perceived underdogs.
You will have sympathy for Chan, fight with Yaris, and fall in love with Sam.
The concert and Sam’s work actually made me cry (I was tired 😂) such was the depth of feeling and the story.
Another fantastic series by R R Haywood and excellent narration by Colin Morgan. Get the series and lose yourself in it
Thank you

Wow! All the action you could want
Anyone who has read The Worldship Humility will know how action-packed the sequel would be, and it didn't disappoint. The number of different voices Colin Morgan had to produce with seconds' notice were incredible, and he performed them brilliantly. The story zoomed from one location to another just as fast, it was sometimes hard to keep up.
Action movie, love story, political thriller, it ticks all the boxes.
Some gore, sexual content and language unsuitable for listening with the kids, plus possible triggers for abuse, torture, sexual violence.

Brilliant
Fantastic book with a gripping, exciting storyline, furnished with likeable (and unlikeable) characters. The narration is perfect. How he manages to jump from voice to voice. accent to accent, with such dexterity is simply mind boggling.
