This collection spans his entire career from his earliest surviving works of childhood to stories completed shortly before his death. All tales include original music by HPLHS composer Troy Sterling Nies.

On a raw January afternoon, the Stuart king, Charles I, was executed for treason. Within weeks, the English monarchy had been abolished and the ‘useless and dangerous’ House of Lords discarded. The people, it was announced, were now the sovereign force in the land. What this meant, and where it would lead, no one knew. The Restless Republic is the story of the extraordinary decade that followed.

Story
The battle for Stalingrad became the focus of Hitler and Stalin's determination to win the gruesome, vicious war on the eastern front. The citizens of Stalingrad endured unimaginable hardship; the battle, with fierce hand-to-hand fighting in each room of each building, was brutally destructive to both armies. But the eventual victory of the Red Army, and the failure of Hitler's Operation Barbarossa, was the first defeat of Hitler's territorial ambitions in Europe and the start of his decline.

Laurence Rees, in his magnum opus, combines largely unpublished testimony with the latest academic research to create the first accessible and authoritative account of the Holocaust in over three decades. Rees argues that whilst hatred of the Jews was always at the epicentre of Nazi thinking - and the Holocaust was the most appalling crime in history - what happened cannot be fully understood without considering the murder of the Jews alongside other Nazi plans to kill millions of non-Jews as well.

The Best, Most Comprehensive Poe Collection
A great value collection that includes all of Poe's stories, poems, essays, and novels. The stories and poems are, as expected, fantastic, but I didn't know about Poe's work as an essayist and novelist, so it was great to discover these parts of his catalogue, too. Both the narrators give pitch-perfect performances - by far the best readers of Poe available on Audible.

The Finest Poe Collection
This collection, expertly read with true understanding and enthusiasm by Jonathan Keeble, is one of my favorite things I've listened to on Audible. Poe is an incredible storyteller and it's a pleasure to be taken through all his stories in safe hands.
Unlike many others, this collection is FULLY INDEXED so you can easily find which story/poem you are looking for. A great bonus.

This narrator is wonderful. He has a rich, full voice and reads it well. I'm really enjoying listening to it. I haven't listened to the whole thing (it's 60 hours long) but everything I've listened to has been great!

No Index
I was fooled. There are 200 chapters of poems, stories, novels, and essays and absolutely no way to find a specific item without clicking through the entire list of untitled chapters. This is a $50.00 audible, too. For $50 per audible, you might hire someone to affix a title to the chapters. I thought the PDF might contain this. Fooled me again. A few drawings to accompany stories. If you want to listen to random stories and poems, this is your audible. If you want to find a particular story. Forget this one.
