Summary
In this sexy installment of the Miles High Club series from bestselling author T L Swan, a billionaire playboy goes incognito on a backpacking trip in Europe. But how long can he hide from love?
I’m wealthy, powerful, and able to get any woman I want.
So why do I feel so empty inside?
In search of a deeper me, I take a sabbatical from my privileged life. One year of backpacking around Europe: a new identity, no contacts, and no money. Not a bad plan, I think.
Until I get there.
A crowded hostel room, body odor, and beer bongs—there are no words for the fresh hell I’ve landed in.
But amid the chaos, I meet my new roommate, Hayden Whitmore. She sleeps in the bed opposite me, and I openly admit to staring at her more than I sleep. Beautiful, innocent, and smart. Not my usual type but perhaps the perfect woman.
There’s just one small problem with the divine Miss Hayden. She’s totally unaffected by my charm. Nothing is working, and now, I’ve been friend zoned.
What?
But the good thing about me is that I’m an incredible problem solver, and I’ve come up with a diabolical plan. I’m going to slide right in under her friend zone. Be the best damn friend she ever had, hold her hand, make her laugh, and spoon with her in bed.
But now there’s another problem.
Hayden is the one who is sliding under my skin, and maybe friendship isn’t enough.

Incredible........and devastated the series is over
I loved this book! It was completely different to the other Miles High Club novels, all of which I loved.
I laughed out loud a lot! I was doing a garden project whilst listening to this and I was getting some quizzical looks from my neighbours!
I also cried & had my heart broken.
I was desperate for more when I finished it, so much more! Out of all the books this story has scope for a follow up book whilst also catching up with all the Miles family. I know I'll return to this series often.
The narration was excellent throughout.

Written by a man or a pick me
Could not finish. From the male character complaining about a women growing hair where he and she naturally grows hair, to the fact that he wants to pay for meals meaning that he is "kind" and often is "used" for money, despite him stating numerously that he uses women for sex. This book is ridiculous.

❤️❤️❤️ THE PERFECT LISTEN ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve listened to and really raved about the other books in this very enjoyable series.. but this one, this one I truly truly loved with all my heart. The thirteen hours flew by as I listed and fell for these sweet characters and heard how these strangers became friends then best friend then lovers and then couldn’t help but fall in love with each other during their wonderful twelve months backpacking journey together around the world. The secondary characters were essential, adding warmth and camaraderie and friendship and fun. There were laughs and laughter along the way but their journey would have crossroads, lines in the sand, tears, compromises and second-chances too.
Worth a credit? A million yes’.. it had heart and humor.. romance and relationship hiccups.. and sex and soul-mate sweet sentiments.. and characters growth and oh so many other things that puts a smile on my face. And, of course, CJ and Sebastian’s narration brought the characters, the fun, the ebb and flow, the swoony and sentimental and the growth of story to life.

A fun read until the end -
TL Swan is without exception a charmed, clever read. When CJ Boom and Sebastian York perform her creations it takes them next level. In this case, had this duo not narrated the story it may have failed.
The first 80% of this romance is a delightful romp through Europe intermingled with a blossoming love story, but the last 20% was not well written, especially the ending, which was juvenile and truncated.
The real test - I have no desire to reread it.

The air crackles between us
I am glad this is the last book in this series. The actors were great and the story was entertaining. I just did not like “the air crackles between us” in every book.

TL Swan does it again... 🎉🔥❤️
Oh the things this book did to my heart...
To be honest I initially DNF'd this because the first few chapters really made Christopher unlikable. Once he got to Spain and met Hayden though, all bets were off. Not only is this the sweetest "vacation/travel" romance but it also has some amazing moments after the trip concludes. The thing about TL Swan books is that the story doesn't conclude after the main plot is removed. Know that you are going to get the full story of "what happens after" and it will be well thought out and engaging. It's one of my fav things about this author.
What to expect
✅ Friends to lovers
✅ Travel Adventures
✅ Taking care when sick
✅ Swoonworthy MMC
✅ Solid cast of side characters, including old friends from previous books
✅ Dual POV
✅ Fish out of water moments for both characters
✅ Alpha male moments
Synopsis
Christopher wants to prove that he is more than just a spoiled rich boy. He decides to take a year off and backpack through Europe. He decides he will stay in a hostel, works odd jobs and "rough" it. Little does he know, he might not be cut out for it. Christopher decides not to tell anyone who he is, because for one year he wants to discover who he truly is behind the money and his family name. So he becomes "Christo," a school teacher from New York. A little white lie never hurt anyone right?
Hayden lives a small town country lifestyle. She booked this backpacking trip a year ago when her highschool boyfriend broke her heart. And after a year later she still feels a bit broken. Nothing a change of scenery can't solve. When she arrives at the hostel in Barcelona she finds herself in rooming with a bunch of mostly friendly strangers. She meets "Christo", one of her roommates, who is drop dead gorgeous, grumpy and half naked. They form a friendship and begin to travel Europe together along with the ragtag group of friends.

My thoughts 💭💭
The highlight of this book was the boat scene. I'd highly recommend reading the Mr. Series by TL Swan. We get some great cameos from the English Lads in this book that had me ROLLING in laughter. Made all the better because I've already read their stories.
Another great moment had to be the relationship Hayden and Christopher had with the little boy who they met in Barcelona. My heart couldn't handle it.
I truly loved this book and I can't believe it took me so long to read it. Christopher is a giant tool, especially at the beginning but he really grew on me. Especially, when you put him in scenes out of his comfort zone. He was hilarious. (The wolf in the bushes scene 😂😂😂😂)
If you enjoy steamy, hilarious romcoms you should check this out. There are sweet moments, hilarious moments, sexy moments and tearjerking moments.

Nope. Just nope. I tried.
The writing is better than a 1 star rating. But that's it. The whole book is based on a horrible person.
Christopher is just too much - selfish, sexist, impatient, entitled, unwilling to compromise, a complete bully, who constantly flouts his lack of self-control as if it's a good quality...? Not okay. If he is the future of men in this world, we are all in trouble.
Yes he has moments where he's an okay human. Overall he is a horrible person with a few good traits. He is a youngest and I get it- that's basically how they are for the most part. But he takes it to a disgusting new level. He acts like he's never been disciplined. He is sooo wrong for 85% of the book and should be apologizing for all of that time, but nope. He apologizes to his brothers and mom as soon as he says something out of hand. But to everyone else his is awful. The way he treats women, talks about them, interacts with strangers- just a complete asshole. Then on top of that, the way he treats "the one" makes me nauseated. THE WAY HE TALKS TO HAYDEN. Just disgusting. It's a horrible abusive relationship and SHE NEVER STICKS TO HER GUNS. He apologizes to her twice. In the whole book. And it's not even a good apology. Awful. Just awful. And their sex scenes. All horrible. It's just not good. He is so rough with someone so sweet it's just cringey. Nothing good about it at all.
The good parts in the book:
Reading about the year abroad backpacking - I never knew this was what it was like. And now I wonder if it's really this bad. (Interesting idea for sure and I can never allow my daughters to do it. 😳 I will pay extra to make sure they can be safe if they want to travel. Shudder.)
Eddie- loves him to pieces. He really redeemed the story. Love him. And everything with him in it. Honestly, the whole book being about Eddie would have been great
The actual writing was not bad.

Just ok
Not what we usually come to expect from TLS. The first 3/4th part of the book did not sound like anything she would’ve written.also, It looks like that I’m addition to “Margaritas” “lump in my throat” in every one of her book we will be reading a lot more “air crackles”….
Anxiously awaiting for the follow up to find me Alastar.

Perfect ending to an Amazing series
I originally read the book and loved it. Listening to it though brought it to life and was absolutely hilarious. I have laughed so hard at these characters. The banter between the brothers, Hayden, and then you have the yacht scene. I couldn't get enough. If you're looking for LOL, then this is your book.
