Summary

I met him, the man of my dreams.

On the worst day of my life.

Catching my boyfriend out was bad.

Coming out of the club in a daze, I stumbled upon a situation which was worse. Much worse.

And it would have been deadly, too.

If he wasn’t there to save me.

My unsuspecting hero.

He was rugged, wild, and powerful.

The way he looked at me set me on fire.

He was wrong for all the right reasons - a bad man with a good heart.

And I fell. Way too hard.

Things started to go amiss, and pieces of the puzzle are missing.

Why was he there that day? Who is he, really?

I’m so confused.

My head and heart are in a battle to the death.

Do I leave with my head?

Or, stay and love with my heart?

Sexual assault is not ‘romantic’.

This was just appalling. The ‘romantic hero’ sexuality assaults female lead while she’s unconscious, and then grudgingly ‘rescues’ her from a gang rape once he decides he can be bothered. All this in the first 20 minutes at which point I couldn’t listen anymore. How any writer can think this is sexy or romantic is beyond me. Awful.

INTENSE AND GRIPPING

INTENSE, GRIPPING, HOT!!

PLAY ALONG by T.l Swan is full of angst, danger, twists and turns I was completely hooked, mesmerised and I loved the audio version of this book, the Narrators really brought the characters to life and made some of the scenes more intense.

Roshina has a sneaky suspicion that her best friend and her boyfriend of a few years are doing the dirty on her and when they both tell her they are away for the night, her boyfriend with work and her best friend with something else, she knows they are both sneaking away together for a night and she does what any suspicious woman would do, follows them to see her herself. Roshina discovers them both in a nightclub grinding on each other and after a confrontation rushes out back of the club and witnesses a murder.

Roshina is a witness, she is kidnapped, talk about going from one bad situation from another but this is only the beginning of Roshina's nightmare when she finds her self on a container ship full of randy hungry men and criminals.

It isn't nice reading about rape or attempted rape so the beginning of this book is a bit gruesome although Mac did come to her rescue and claim her for himself and to survive her time on the ship for weeks they had to play along and let the others believe they were together.

Mac is the man in charge of the ships cargo, he holds power on board but he has his own hidden agenda's for being there and in the process of his mission he becomes close to Rochelle, the woman he kidnapped to ultimately save. They both end up saving each other down the line and in the process find love

The plan was for Rochelle to leave as soon as they docked but things don't exactly go to plan in this book full of surprising twists and turns.

An unconventional love story, filled with suspense, thrills, and a roller coaster journey to a hea. Told in first person dual pov. I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who likes something with a bit more on the edgy and on the dangerous side.

An AMAZING book!

I can safely say that this is one of if not the best audiobooks that I have ever listen to. In fact it is so good that I am going to listen to it again and I never listen twice to the same book!

TL Swan has now become my favourite author and the narrators we are 2nd to none - absolutely brilliant and conveying the story and the characters to perfection. You are going to love this!

repetitive

I generally love this author, but it all got a bit samey - the female narrator was diabolical, mechanical delivery and strangely breathy she ruined it for me. If you like me don't really get on with this style of narration after the first chapter I promise It does not get better. I would imagine reading the book is amore satisfying experience. I should have got a refund it's a bloody long story and a test of endurance - couldn't wait for it to end.

A fantastic story with a different twist

This story was entertaining, fast paced and a true page turner. The heroine was feisty, strong and outspoken, which is unusual for this type of genre and I truly embraced her character wholeheartedly. Stace, the hero was again, not quite who you would expect for story. In the beginning when Roshina is kidnapped you think it'll follow a familiar well known path but as the story progresses you realise it doesnt. I really enjoyed this one and thoroughly recommend it!

Yes yes yes!!!

I enjoyed T L Swans "Takeover " and decided to try another of his - NO REGRETS. This was even better, had me listening at all hours of the morning. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat! A MUST read (listen to), you won't regret it.

great characters great story

Loved this book, I loved the characters and the back stories that shaped them, this book is steaming hot but tastefully done. I really enjoyed the two voices during conversations instead of just one narrator at a time, it really bought it to life, it also has some great twists and turns keeping you hooked constantly. I definitely recommend

Great connection fab twists

Chemistry explodes for these two throughout the book. They soon are deep in love even though they started out in a kidnapper and victim situation.
She ends up being out on a limb and needing to make decisions where she can cut loose or not, she also has secrets but so does he!
The ship she is on has a deeper secret than she realises too.
Soon the pressure cooker of secrets will erupt and how will they escape out at sea?
What happens back on land she is a victim of kidnap?
How does this story end? Loved the story
Presenters were ok.... it was annoying with both doing bits at the same time. I would have preferred stance reading his point of view and doing both voices I think and Rochelle the same!
Enjoyable

This was such an excellent book. It had it all!

Suspense, mystery, sexual tension, and passion. This book had all of that and more! The narration was stellar and the unique plot really did catch me by surprise. I didn't even have a chance to try and predict what would happen since I was always busy just keeping up! By no means did I feel rushed through the book, it was the perfect pace, I just mean that it wasn't predictable at all to me. At one point I even questioned whether that HEA would happen or not. The characters had depth and felt three dimensional, and the sex scenes were definitely hot. Nothing too crazy kinky but enough alpha male owning and claiming a woman to make you swoon a bit. An excellent book indeed, worth the credit for sure.

Main character stupid

I finished the book, but it was hard. The main character “should” be a lot more savvy considering the character’s background. She reactions to situations do not fit with her intelligence level and again, with her life experiences as a child. Example: if you have been kidnapped, are on a drug ship, find the kidnappers phone (which Is not password protected), see a picture of a list documenting #s with letters and notes, and do not immediately see the connection? However, the character takes too She jumps to and acts on stupid conclusions about everything else throughout the rest of the book. Frustrating.

So good!

Duet narration done soooo right. This needs to be made into a suspense/action movie, kinda like Night and Day (the vibe, not the story), but X rated 😁❤ and  Loved this so much! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 F*ck Todd!
Trigger warning for cheater and kidnapping.

Not what I was expecting

The book was hard to finish! The main female is unbelievably stupid and unlikeable. However, I did like the main male.

Mixed Feelings. A Granny Voice Narration?

The story is 4 stars due to the sudden shift in events feeling disjointed. Otherwise there are bits that are steamy and exciting. The male voice was okay. The female voice was that of a grandma. Hard to picture Rosh because of this. But good story

I loved Stace. Roche, not so much.
I liked the story at times and at other points I almost stopped listening... It took me several days to finish this audiobook which never happens once I am hooked...
I really don't know whether to recommend it or not.
Weird review, I know. Sorry.
