Summary
Death! Downfall! Despair! Darkness!
So much darkness. At least it made hiding easier. Daniel and his group of close friends barely made it away from the mob and their underhanded allies among the Cabal. Now, they were hunted prey, forced to ditch their beloved floating castle in order to find a place to hide.
But where could you possibly hide when the Dawnlight Forest would soon be teeming with people looking for you? That’s right. Underground. Quite literally.
The beleaguered group of adventurers would soon find out about the underworld of Neyrus. What could you possibly find down there? Monsters? Treasure? Salvation?

The best yet!
The story has been tightened up and laser focused on a single location with a single interesting mission, helping make a much tighter and deep narrative! Straight up the best of the series!

A great addition to the series
I wasn't quite sure where the story would go after book 4 but I wasn't disappointed. Without revealing too much the new location and characters were great and it was a top story. Voices matched the characters well and I'm looking forward to see how it all ties together in book 6!

Music and Mayhem.
Ok so at this point sure I may be a little biased. my love of the violin drawing me back for more.
But this story is a great self contained story whilst adding to the overall plot, bringing up some old plot points to tie into a neat bow. Genuine dramatic moments throughout the adventure as the group journey from the skys to underground tunnels.
SBT's work is superb as ever, really bringing the series up as Angelo's story moves onward. the voice actors bringing real heart and emotion to the characters.
definitely recommend, can't wait for book 6!

Perfect narration
I'm on the fence with this series to be honest, the music is wonderful, the narration is perfect, and the story isn't bad, But it completely lacks any adult humor or humor in general. They're some playful scenes, but I do like a little more spice I guess. I'll still continue the series, but mainly because I don't have better options at the moment.

Delving with the Magic of SBT
I picked up all 5 of the books at one time so it was really awesome to see the quality of the SBT Team mature through the process as well. This was by far the best of the series so far and an awesome listen.
The story continues to unfold! And the plot thickens. The world is maturing very well and with the mix of real world effecting the in game I can’t wait to see how it all comes to a head.
I gave the story 4 instead of 5 because there are a few inconsistencies or lack of depth. Overall a great read but its not going to be an epic for the ages that I would give 5 stars to.

You need this series!
Ohhhh yeah, I loved this book. I love Archangelo and his Beast chameleon Atlas bonded to each other by music. I seriously liked Delving Bard better than the last book I read in the series.
As the title and blurb suggest the book's about a dungeon dive. But Lars Machműller took me on the most unique dive I've evarrr been on. Yeah, there's still a dungeon and I guess you might say it has levels, and maybe even a dungeon boss at the end... but, you'll see what I mean when you read the book. And through it all, Soundbooth Theater weaves music and magic together thus increasing your need to get this audio series and book!

Exploration time
Considering where the last book left off, I was expecting lots of exploration which I got in an unexpected way. Stay on your toes and prepare for some wild twists and turns. I’m waiting with bated breath for the next chapter in this musical journey

Delving bard indeed!
I love the way this story and world are developing and hope to see many more from the World of Chains, as well as from this particular bard.
Soundbooth Theatre continues to amaze with the sound of violins as well as amazing voice actors.

but... but...but....
it terrifies me that there's only gonna be one more book in the series. its gonna have to be a massive tome. this series has absolutely drawn me in and I have devoured all 5 books in the course of a week. as always, SBT and Justin Thomas James absolutely kill the narration. chock this one up as another home run.
