I’ve read so many crime stories in my life and didn’t expect much from a free book but this was actually amazing. After many stories I had to pause to reflect upon it and think about the genius plot before I could go to the next! Really recommendable!

I laughed out loud at Davie's cringing at Colin's conversation on the train. We've all been there.
These are short and sweet twist in the tales, with some being more successful than others.
The narration was excellent for the most part, with the exception of the false regional accents. That Scottish accent was particularly dreadful.

I very rarely leave a review, but as I depend so much on those left by others when choosing my next listen, I've decided I need to do my bit too. 😏.
I very much enjoyed listening to this collection of entertaining crime stories and I will certainly listen to them again. I prefer crime that is not grisly or graphic and these stories satisfy that preference without being overly "cosy". Some of the narrators in this collection are better than others (5 stars for the content, 4 stars for the narration).
