Summary
Hi, my name is Bree Camden, and I’m hopelessly in love with my best friend and star quarterback Nathan Donelson (so is half of America, judging by the tabloids and how much the guy dates). The first step is admitting it, right? Except, I can never admit it to him because he clearly doesn’t see me that way, and the last thing I want is for things to get weird between us. Nothing but good old-fashioned no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive platonic friendship for us! Everything is exactly how I like it! Yes. Good. (I’m not crying; I’m just peeling an onion.)
Our friendship is going swimmingly until I accidentally spill my beans to a reporter over too much tequila, and now the world seems to think Nathan and I belong together. Oh, and did I mention we have to date publicly for three weeks until after the Super Bowl because we signed a contract with...oops, forgot I can’t tell anyone about that!
The bottom line is that my best friend is now smudging all the lines and acting very un-platonic, and I’m just trying to keep my body from bursting into flames every time he touches me. How am I going to make it through three weeks of fake dating Nathan without anything changing between us? Especially when it almost-sorta-kinda seems like he’s fighting for a completely different outcome?
Send help.
XO Bree

Simply fantastic!
I basically are this up in one day. It is witty, romantic and perfectly written. Would absolutely recommend to anyone into the whole “Hallmark but actually good quality” kind of book. Loved it.

Cinnamon roll
I love a vanilla romance, but this is a double cinnamon roll. Both leads are sickly sweet, which is cute for the most part, but a little bit boring. So a great book but not for me.
No spice

DNF'd
just couldn't finish it. The narrators were amazing and I can't fault them. the problem is the fmc she is the ultimate 'pick me' girl and I just couldn't finish it. Both leads are so childish and don't act like grown adults but instead teenagers. I just found the book embarrassing to listen to.

So Cute
I almost returned this immediately because the female narrators voice is aittle grating, but I stuck with it because of the story.
I read a lot of fantasy romance stories, so this was an ideal palette cleanser. It's cute, sweet, and feel good.
Yes the characters are annoying in the fact that it's taken them so long to realise they like each other (that's not a spoiler. It's right up there at the beginning) but if you forgive that and just wallow in the romance, it's lovely.
I loved both characters, especially Nathan. He is a bit too perfect for real life, but then most men in romance books are!
I also read reviews that talk about how a big event in the book was stupid because no-one would do that, but seriously, why not? They've loved each other for years and know each other better than anyone else. Why wait?
Overall, I really enjoyed this feel good book and, if you're looking for something easy going, cute, and loveable, this is your book.

Loved it
Slow burn, loved the thrill of anticipation. Was still
Very PG & cute. Liked that it had both a male and female narrator. Listened to it all in a weekend!

Teddy Hamilton is great, but the rest…
Teddy Hamilton is always great, but the female narrator just wasn’t right for this part. The story was pretty great about 80% of the way through until it became a Christian Hallmark Movie. Nothing wrong with that of course, but not at all what I signed on for.

Had potential, fell short
Teddy Hamilton is the reason this narration got 3 stars. Renee Dorian didn’t impress me, though, to her credit, some of what she had to read made no sense (e.g. “a steel bear of a perfectionist).
The writing was clumsy, wordy and contained so many analogies that made no sense. It was distracting and I found myself rewinding because I would be thinking about the writing rather than what was actually happening.
The characters were lovable, but beyond that, I can’t give this author any more credit. There was no real story here, and had these two main characters ever talked about their feelings for each other, they would have saved so much time. YEARS. My LEAST favorite trope is when characters avoid actual communication. So bad. It’s also a PG romance, for those of you looking for spice.

Not predictable
This story did follow the same old story with characters falling into predictable miscommunications. They genuinely cared for each other from beginning to end. There were some lines that got repeated more than necessary but was forgivable. Several times I laughed out loud. Performance was spot on by both actors!! Another great book by Sarah Adams. I will definitely listen again

This story is a good, clean romance. It's very sweet and truly contains all the feels. Definitely worth the credit! The narration was spot on!

so cute
such a darling book and I enjoyed the narration. I definitely recommend it. I don't always love the way authors have guys interactive, but this... I could almost visualize it. Them making the cheat sheet was my favorite.

Spectacularly Awful Story
Poorly written. Unrealistic story. No funny. Totally underwhelming. Should have returned it. Perhaps Audible should give me 3 credits for finishing it!

Ick. Too much.
Very much “I love him and want him” and “I love her and want her.” No real plot or development.

pick me girl
the tension build up was made obnoxiously annoying when it was prolonged to a point where I just wanted to quit reading. the main girl character is a huge "pick me" girl who thinks she's quirky. the narration from teddy when he acted like the girl were really bad, it made her sound like she was nasally and whiney . and the narration from renne acting as the guy made him seem like he was bored beyond his mind. I did not like this book at all.
