Something makes this not very suitable for audible!

The story overall was good and the nearest thing I’ll get to skiing this year 2020/21
However, something doesn’t quite fit with being read out and voices given to characters. Never mind, it won’t become apparent until the end, and hopefully you will have enjoyed the book.

Great winter read

An enjoyable thriller, well narrated.
The physical environment contributed the the slightly cosy thriller genre of a good Agatha Christie story.
The story moved backwards and forward in well balanced way building up the tension.

Highly recommended.

Great setting for a story if your a skier

I enjoyed this book and it kept me interested and guessing but while I am used to books that go backwards & forwards from past to present this one seemed to be particularly confusing at times as to exactly which time line you were in. It became easier as the book moved along & you could pinpoint all the characters. This was the only reason I marked it down by one star. Otherwise a good book and would recommend.

Gripping and completely believable

Beautiful descriptions of the high life in a luxurious chalet in the Alps.
With several twists.
Great voices too- I just couldn’t stop listening to it!

So much fun

If you want a wintry mystery/thriller that'll keep you gripped from the start, you've found it. It feels like a beach read - but for winter - with a strong cast of well-drawn characters and a compelling plot. It's the perfect read when you feel like your brain needs an injection of fun.
