The narrator is really annoying, especially for Danny's voice, but stick with it as it's a lovely story. I'll definitely be buying more from Anna Bell!

personally I thought the book was predictable, but when it came to the end. I thought I was all over. turn out love is still present now and I just cant. Loved LOVED LOVED LOVED iTT highly recommend

It was an easy listen but the reader's accents and different voices were a little childish.

This is probably my least favourite of all the Anna Bell books I’ve listened to. It’s ok, an enjoyable listen I guess but it took my longer to listen to than other books as I just didn’t get hooked.
The narrator is not great either, her voice didn’t gel with what I imaged the main character to be like, she sounded much older.

Have to admit, I did guess wrong at Danny's involvement with a certain other lady, not the main female character. It was an okay story, quite sweet, slightly irritating in parts. I noticed a few mistakes by the narrator, but I can't imagine this is an easy job. The niece came across as a child who is very spoilt and didn't fit with how Kerry and Jim are as people.

Great chicklit. funny. relatable. endearing. And loved hearing chat about our seaside town of Portsmouth.
Not an ending that I expected. (so that was good). Great narration. Will look out for author Anna Bell for future listens!
