Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Bomb Girl Brides by Daisy Styles, read by Anne Dover.
The life of a Bomb Girl isn't usually glamourous. But Maggie is getting married, so she is going to make sure her wedding day is - even if she does have to spend every other day slaving on the factory floor. This blasted factory was not what Julia had in mind either. She had always dreamed of attending Oxford University rather than getting her hands dirty, and the easy laughter of the other women intimidates her terribly. But they are all here together in this munitions factory in a Lancashire mill town, sharing firsts, pitching in and getting on. These Bomb Girls are going to do their best at work and in love.

Fantastic book
What a fantastic audio book. The story got me hooked. My nan worked the ammunition factory during the WW2 in London . So this story gave me in sight of what my nan could have done. I recommend this book to all to read or listen too! Best buy...thank you to the author of this book.

Lovely book
Listened to all 3 books. So enjoyed them all. My only complaint was that Roesa’s accent in this book was not Italian but other than that 5 stars

Great fourth book of the series
I've enjoyed all four books. Good storylines and well described and interesting characters. There was an adjustment to listening to a new narrator for book three but it worked out successfully imo.

Another great book in the series
I personally love this series by Daisy Styles.
Sadly, this book was spoilt by the narrator. Rosa went from having a slite northern accent in the previous book to hardly any Italian accent. In this one, it was a shame for me

Such a lovely book
I love the Bomb girl series, these books are written with such passion. Acurate facts of the war, great sense of humour, I love the ideas around Polly. And all read superbly by Ann Dover, what more can you ask for!

Good read
I enjoyed this book but not nearly so much as the others. A bit too mushy and chick lit for me. Also I was confused regarding the bus to and fro to Manchester. The area in which they lived was right up on the moors and a bus into town would have been a big undertaking. Also quick journeys from Manchester to Penrith unlikely as it a 200 mile round trip.

Another great story.
The narrator gave a lovely performance. The story flowed well from the other books.
