Very enjoyable
It’s nice to have a proper story without it all being sex. The storyline evolves nicely and there is plenty of action and tension. Very enjoyable with super narration.

Fantastic Suspenseful Romance
The Assassin’s Duet by Ella Sheridan
Assassin’s Mark book 1
Levi is an assassin who has reasons. It’s not straight forward as time goes on. Abby’s father is using her as a pawn and we come to realize as we get further into the book that he doesn’t care her. Maybe her assassin will save her who knows.
Loving the family connection with Levi and his brothers. Suspenseful and deadly situations that have compelled me to continue to find out what was happening next. Abby’s father is quite the devils pawn.
No wonder Abby is falling for her abductor. And she is seeing Levi and his brothers as only doing what they need to. She’s changing her attitude towards them and they’re coming to care for her too.
The deceit, the fear and the fast paced actions were really captivating!
Stella Hunter was amazing as the stubborn and feisty Abby who no wonder falls for Levi when she’s never had anyone care about her and these men do come to see her as one of their own.
Jason is also the ultimate professional as he brings out the Levi who is at first the deceptive killer for hire and then shows us he is a true leader and protector of his family. As well as how much Levi struggles with his growing feelings for Abby.
Remi and Levi become men who I need to learn more of. These contract killers have compassion and aren’t what they appear to be. I’m excited to hear more of these two. Especially what is between Leah and Remi.
It all comes to a wow ending and left me feeling so mixed up for Abby and Levi’s relationship. Until a year later he came back to her.
Assassins Prey book 2
Levi is back with Abby, believing that it’s safe to be with her and that no one was after her or suspicious of her father’s death.
Yet all hell breaks loose, it’s like she’s being hunted by by whom and why?
Levi and his brothers will do everything they can to protect each other and Abby. This book continues to surprise me with trying to keep up with who’s after them. Lots of intense twists and turns in this series especially this second book.
The narration is superb with these two professionals. Don’t miss this duet series it’s full of spice, intrigue and suspense!

The best romantic suspense!
Ella Sheridan knows how to write romantic suspense! The perfect mixture of thrills, tension and passion had me from the beginning. Assasin's Mark is book one. Catching the eye of the very handsome Levi seemed like a good idea. But Abby had no reason to believe there was something more sinister than a one night stand in store for her. Levi has kidnapped the daughter of the prospective governor of Virginia. What he didn't plan on was a spunky, fighter that spiked his passion. These two have chemistry that you cannot miss. Now Abby is going to have to choose between her father and the love she has found. With an intriguing cast of characters, the spin of politics and fear of the choices to come, we have a story that kept me listening straight through!
Assassin's Prey is book 2 picking up where we left off. Abby doesn't want to give up her independence and Levi will do everything he can to keep her safe. Can they find a balance? And what is the danger? Will their love survive? It's twists and turns galore with steamy passion to keep you warm! I love this kind of story, keeping you on the edge of your seat, the alpha male, the strong, independent female and a plot that just thickens
Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter are fantastic in this duet style narration. Both find the essence of their characters and bring out the personalities front and center. Each inflection and nuance molds them and lets us understand and feel their emotions. This is an amazing team, their voices compliment each other and the story flows. I loved it!
