Enjoyed this book

Was a little put off at first by the robotic American narrator, but it’s alright after a while. Great book, a lot about the “Flow” state, interesting, given me some direction and focus on my goals. Would recommend

Decent read

Would recommend. It got better the more it went on, and the ending 2 chapter’s are probably the best

Generally good

I felt this book to be worth a listen, however, I didn't give it 5 stars due to an inconsistency that frustrated me a little. Early on in the book the author states that dopamine is released in the brain before a goal is achieved and not after, as previously thought. However, he then goes on to say in a later chapter that by telling someone your goal it is less likely that you will achieve it as you already have the dopamine release as your brain thinks you have already achieved it (by stating it publicly).

Great content

I have the book on paper and I can highly recommend it.
I decided to buy it on audible to listen to it, but the narration is bad. the narrator reads the book as if he reads it for the first time and doesn't use a proper intonation and accents. this makes the understanding difficult.
I recommend the paper version.

Not your usual self development book

No fluff, no nonsensical truisms just solid well-researched advice, I highly recommend it. On par with "Stealing Fire" which is a classic

Masterpiece

Felt like all the self-development books I have ever read were combined into a simple, easy-to-use manual with fantastic storytelling and style of writing which I could help but to enjoy every single word. This was the first Steven Kutlers book I have listened to, but definitely not the last. If the principles laid out in this book are applied one can genuinely see himself doing the impossible! Thank you, Steven!

Great insight

A really great book full of actionable insights that I can really see working, I look forward to implementing the things covered in this book.

The book touches on neuroscience a lot which I actually found really interesting, it is fascinating how the brain has such power over mood by simply releasing chemicals (duhh, but kinda mind-blowing).

Best step by step self improvement book!

Excellent guide to mastery and finding purpose, with a cocktail of scientifically proven concepts, gathering great ideas from other great books and high performers!
Easy to absorb, with good narration, well organised, you are going to need a notebook to register some mind-blowing ideas, applicable to your own journey.
