Summary

Asked by his sister Georgina to find her old friend Annabelle Gaines, Graham Carlton becomes fascinated with the woman in the photo. Obsessed with finding her, ensuring her safe return, but most importantly, claiming her as his own.

Annabelle has been on the run from one man's brutality and never expected to find a savior in another. Graham Carlton's intensity, virility, arrogance, and masculinity should've scared her. Instead, his bold, domineering nature challenges, infuriates, and arouses Annabelle in ways she hadn't deemed possible.

Journey along with man of mystery Graham Carlton and veterinarian Annabelle Gaines as they find a way to make their relationship work in Baymoor, Maryland. Don't miss the chance to meet new characters, and catch up with some of the town's interesting residents along the way.

Contains mature themes.

I laughed, cried, and high fived my self! So Good

D A Young is amazing. I laughed and cried 😭 at one point at the same time. The book is deep. Extremely rich in some grown up stuff that make you want to pray for any real folks experiencing the same hardships and rejoice with those who have obtained their victory. I want more and am almost ashamed at how I'm greedily consuming D A Young's Book! Please read and enjoy. 💖💖💖

Good as usual

This story is good as usual. I've read the series and love this author's work. I do think that the reading should have been done by two readers, Female and Male. The reader has improved significantly. I can't wait for the final story.

Not Bad overall, but...

I think this book had way too much back filling for Annabelle and the crew. I feel like it could have been about 2 to 3 hours shorter without the extra fluff because it really didn't serve much of a purpose and it began to get repetitive. I also didn't like that the busy-body elderly people got to say anything and everything to the characters and they were too afraid to speak up for themselves. There is a way to properly let someone know their boundaries without being disrespectful.

Wonderful!

Great story and I love the intertwining of the whiskey row characters. I will be reading everything by this author. Please keep them coming. And Ms. Rory melted my heart!

Unexpected

I put off listening on my assumption that this was going to be a cat and mouse thriller.

Straight No Chaser

A realistic account of the extremes of love, the sometimes arduous path to forgiving and the important role therapy plays in becoming whole after trauma. It’s beautiful to read a story devoid of stereotypes.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish God's name wasn't taken in vain much.

This couple was terrific together. I liked the jokes from Baby Girl and loved that she had the accent. I laughed, cried, and smiled about this book. I'm a big fan of D.A. Young and have listened to Whiskey Row and Baymoor love stories. I hope the kids come around and forgive their mother and that she gets a happy ending in the next book. I knew she killed Davis and was glad he didn't kill or hurt her or make her go back to the drugs. I hope new man at the park is good for her and not make her feel she doesn't deserve goodness and my her turn to drugs again.

The narrator was awesome as always. I can't wait for more of Young's books to be on audible.
