I’d spent a year as Ronan’s friend-with-benefits, convincing myself that he could never feel the way I felt. I was floored when those three little words flew out of his mouth. Look, when I met the sexy, witty Brit on the streets of London last night, I had no idea who he was. He was just that hot guy I wanted to have a drink with, so I asked him out for my first evening in town. One thing almost led to another. After a midnight kiss, we made plans for a whole lot more the next day. But when I unlock the door to my rental in the morning, the English hottie is lounging on the couch like he lives here too. Great. For the next year, I’ll be sharing a tiny flat with the sexiest guy I’ve ever known.

A thoroughly enjoyable story.
I enjoyed this book. The story line had a different twist to a lot of the daddy/boy relationship that made it interesting. Both main characters were easy to like and pulled you into the tale.
As usual with this narrator, the performance was wobderful, with a good range of character voices and great ebb and flow to the reading.

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

A perfect start to an amazing series.
I have to start off by saying Mr. John Solo is an amazing narrator. He brought Owen and Declan's story to life. The idea of an age difference on the daddy reversal, works. I love these two main characters. They fit perfectly together regardless of their many differences. And their story is intriguing to say the least. I so highly recommend, ENJOY!

AGE IS JUST A NUMBER...
Declan and Owen are so perfect together it's easy to believe that age is nothing but a number. And the daddy/boy roles don't need an age attached to them. It's all about compatibility, attitude and love. Loved the story and the performance by John Solo. Can't wait for rest of series to come out in audio. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job than John Solo!

So so good
It starts off with Declan being a little pushy which as someone in the BDSM community I was a little thrown off by. BUT in the end he is really just stating exactly what he is looking for and his desires. Then he leaves it up to his boy to decide if he wants to follow. I love the no forcing he does, the care he takes of his boy. The Daddy messes up at the end and learns a very painful but valuable lesson. Well worth the credit, but I bought the other two novels about half way through the book and have looked up the short add on shorts for this same couple. I can't wait to read some of the text books by this author as well.
John was fantastic as usual, although at times he reminds me of Michael Ferraiuolo which was funny.

great story
I absolutely loved Owen and Declan. The relationship between the two melts my heart. The fact that Declan is younger but also takes on the role of Daddy, which is traditionally an older man, is wonderful. Owen not wanting to call a younger man daddy at first just shows how we let society dictate how we see ourselves and our relationships. I can not wait for the next book.
Also John Solo is one of my favorite narrators. I have listened to soooooo many books just because he was the voice bringing them to life.

Enjoyable Story
I enjoyed the story and am glad that the rest of the series is available. It's a bit of a cliffhanger but ends in a good place.
The only thing that I didn't like is that it needs a better editor/proofreader. I can usually ignore minor errors, but a few drew me out of the story.

A nice twist on the norm
people don't realize how society so-called rules play a big part on how they see things and how things should be even me I still think sometimes this is a good book but it's kind of strange just because the younger & smaller person is the most dominant person in the relationship.

Loved this book!
I loved how well the author had us feel what each person was feeling. Also it shocked me to find that the mom went away to become a man and said nothing until she ran into her sons. They also let us see and feel what the daughter felt like, and I don’t blame her for her anger.
