Good

The references aren't as bad as the reviews make out. There weren't as many as expected and they weren't that dated... I'm only in my 30s and I got them...

Some parts could be seen as childish but I thought the humour was actually quite realistic for a guy that age. Early 20s is far from the height of male maturity.

Otherwise, it's not a bad story even if I've read better offerings. It dodged a few power-up opportunities and managed to surprise me.

It was a bit drawn out, a lot was said but not that much happened compared to the word count. It's setting up for the next book but the last few hours were a slog to get through.

The narrator's character choices are all rather the same with the main character having the most unique sound. His dictation is laid back but he does really well with conveying the right emotion of the narration and dialogue.

tldr; Solid performance of a decent book.

lord of the rings scale with harry potter style

this is at its core an extremely competently made story. while its plot can be sumarised demeningly as "dud gets isekaid as child/anime keregan in generic fantacy world" everything just upp and exeeds every expektation crated from that decription.
with the posible exeption of the worlds common animal ecology every monster type, magical power, charakter, motivation and consikvense is given time in the spotlight.
at least from my first lissen i found not one of even the minor charakters to be underdeveloped for their role. be it a seazy lonney lender, cocky squire, creepy vex-ling or even the unlucky lady from the first chapter that serve as little more than crafting materials for the mc's body.

to that end that leads to this books greatest strength and posible downside: its predigus length. witch is largely derived from its long unhurried slice of life style segments that are very remenisent of Rowlings writing style. veare world building is hintet at and gradualy explored instead of being monologed or sumarised.

i comend this work for its exelent world building most of all. i found no generic charakters at all despite every charakter fitting comftably into their archtypes.

Great Start - looking forward to more

An interesting twist on the genre - loved it - loved the complex Main Characters issues due to a Male human being stuck in a female Ant body - Good story and good narrator - look forward to the next one

A good book

it's a good book, some of the parts dragged on a little to long. It also felt like it lead to nothing, at least for the current moment. But I do hope it's fixed in the sequel and I am looking forward too it. Highly recommended.

interesting

interesting take on a LitRPG! Good Fun. Even if the MC is a bit of a whiner

It’s not LITRPG it’s LGBT

There are no LitRPG elements in the story at all. No levels no classes no progression of power, no evolving of abilities.

It’s an isekai of a guy getting reborn into a young alien girl. Just a lot of inner monologues about laying eggs and being attracted to guys. Having the MC be a guy originally added no value to the story.

The narrator does an awesome job and, the story overall isn’t too bad and the fights are average. Had a lot of potential just not for me

Not litrpg and barely rts.

If you like me enjoy a good book about an MC that progressivly develops new skills and abilitys with stats ontop, and leads armies through battles wining more and more territory, then look futher this isen't it.

let me start with the good parts:
The narrator, he does a good job, despite the material he had to work with. (100% he cringed, having to narrate this)

The bad:

litrpg: there is none, zero, big nothing in this book. honestly i dont think the auther knows what the subgenre is.

litrts: there is a very limited amount, he first gets a "unit" at around 6hours and 30min into the book. the battles are pretty meh, short and too superficial.

MC: oh god the endless internal monologs...
the MC is an angsty edgelord, he seems like a projection of what the author would/should have done in a given situation, when he is standing in his shower thinking back.
the best reflection of the MC in the book would propperbly be from 'Anonymous Agony' a game famous for how bad the MC is.

i only managed to get 8½ hours into the book, and I just could not keep going despite the narrator doing an awesome job.

p.s. it should not have the cyberpunk tag, instead it should have ltbg tag.

Zero litrpg and next to no rts

as the headline state. the only pros are the run time and the narrator with a decent story concept. The bad everything else.

Not a LitRPG at all.

This is not a vet or a PG at all this is not a wet RTS this story is a progression fantasy it is miss labeled the story was good and the narration was pretty good itself however that does not change the fact that the book with miss labeled pen is not what it was portrayed to be.

Starts slow

while the body swapping and egg stuff wasn't necessary the story over all was pretty good.

I liked it but...

First of all, as many have said, this book is labeled as litrpg but has zero game elements of any kind. There aren't any classes levels stats or substantial strategy. It is a reincarnated into another world story, but a decent one, if weird.

The mc is just a guy, but is stuck in the body of a female monster. There is some crude language but that fits the character. Still, that coupled with a lot of talk about laying eggs may put many off. If one can get past that or doesn't mind it, this is an alright story. If one can't, this will be a bad experience.

I obviously liked it but I can see this as being a love it or hate it kind of thing. To me, while I don't agree with the mc's weird reactions and fixations, I think it works. Still not a litrpg though.

Not bad

bit of a slow starter but written well. First thought was a crude version of Hive Minds Give Good Hugs. I was pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was a few chapters in the book. The voice Actor I think could have used some help but I heard worse before. Definitely worth a read or listen.

Good, but unnecessary

The Tyranid...I mean zerg...I mean The Vex...seriously. Okay, storywise it can be good but a male character thrown into a female body added nothing to the story. Should have been a female soul into female body and skip over the egglaying details a bit more. While the litrpg is loosely used for the book it's more unlocking abilities without a stat sheet.

Narrator does a good job and the story was good. The genderswap wasn't enjoyable, more cringe.
