Boring

I tried to stick this one out but couldn't. I just found everything a bit meh (boring). The concept was one that has been tried before with more success. I do credit the author with picking a narrator who did really try to turn an average story into something more. But unfortunately that wasn't enough to hold my attention.

Change the audio preview sample to Chap1 please!

I give the publisher a challenge, Change the audio sample and my guesstimation is you will gain a higher percentage of book purchases.
I love the author and the narrator is great. The section that the publisher chose is not consistent with the narrators voice and abilities at all.
I have looked at this book several times and rejected it because of the reviews and the audio sample.
Later, it kept popping into my mind and I read the reviews on Kindle, and I liked the reviews. I went ahead and took a chance on the book because I cannot imagine the author being as terrible as some of the reviews stated.

The book does have a plodding pace and is a slow Developing storyline. However, the book is paced towards character development and plot development for the second book. The last 10 chapters of book the story starts to get interesting and captures one’s attention. It is a little predictable, moreover the book allows you to guess whether your predictions will come true but it also has some fun surprises.
I am definitely getting the second book.
I love that book is clean. I cannot remember whether there is vulgarity in it or not Which of course indicates that there’s very little or none in the book. This makes my purchases very easy and the content is refreshing. An adult book that I can actually recommend to my grandchildren, wow what a concept!

Lastly, the narrator in various voice ranges sounds like will Wheaton which is a complement. Will Wheaton is one of the best book narrators on the planet. However, it is a little bit of a fun distraction when all of a sudden I hear will Wheaton. The narrator is good and Appears to be fairly new at his craft but he is good and appears he will continue to get much better and I enjoyed him very much.

Concept good

But a lot to be desired of the story being flashed out. The story does not suck you in to go further.

Its alright

This is a very much YA novel and a disjointed one at that. Based on all the terrible decision making or lack of it. Ben and Matt seems very much side characters in this story, they can't do anything for themselves and totally rely on Alter for everything. Well maybe signing contracts without reading it, they did that well.

Dave did a good job narrating what he had.

Bill & Ted's excellent adventure

A 19 year old's view of a space adventure. Not a stuffy military romp. Entertaining

A slow, unresolved YA novel…

I bought this as it’s up for a Dragon. Very slow moving plot that never resolves. Written for early teens I think. I give it two stars simply for the narration which was fine.
