Summary
"Like crack for my eyeballs!" (Amazon reviewer)
While trying to stop a cyber-attacker stealing all Space Team's hard-earned money, the cyborg, Mech, unlocks a secret partition in his hard drive, revealing a mysterious set of coordinates.
The co-ordinates lead the team to Funworld, a planet-sized theme park with a worrying number of artificially intelligent clownbots, and a shocking disregard for Health & Safety.
With no weapons, and a shapeshifter who can no longer shift-shape, Space Team's quest to unlock Funworld's mysteries leads them deep into the planet's core - and to the horrors that inhabit it - where they uncover the shocking secret Mech had no idea he was keeping.
Featuring space clowns, the second-last human alive, and at least one fleeting reference to Scooby Doo, Space Team: Planet of the Japes is the seventh hilarious book in the internationally best-selling Space Team series.

The worst of the BEST
This one is not my favourite but I love all the series and listen to the books over and over because they give me a good laugh and Phil Thron is the perfect narrator

Regular shizz, no Space Shizz!
not as good as the first books but still worth listening too. it's like all the other hero type books, you know they are going to get out of trouble, your brain is trying to solve the plot as it's unfolding.

Good ol' Space Team
I was so incredibly impressed by the last Space Team book that I was afraid that Planet of the Japes would be a let down. But I really liked it! I found it fun to get back to the Space Team formula. The book has a couple of curve balls that surprised me and I found the whole thing fun throughout.
In every review of Space Team, I praise the great work done by Phil Thron. He maintains that high level of performance here.

It's a good SPACE book.
Anyway, Phil Thron delivers another amazing performance where he really brings the Space Team members to life, enhancing an already fun story. I can't wait for the next one!

Love These Stories
Simple good ole fashion comic story telling. The stories are fun - you can't beat a Cal Carver Adevwnure.
