About this listen

From the international best-selling series Something So.

Zack

Finding my teammate in bed with my wife made the decision I had been fighting with for years easier.

It’s time to move on.

A fresh start and a new NHL team in a big city. Most importantly, it’s my son Jack’s best shot.

It would be both of our best shots.

Denise

After a bad childhood, I made sure I would succeed.

The problem is I die a little with each patient I lose. It’s part of my career at Hudson Children’s Oncology Hospital, but it doesn’t make the sting of loss any easier.

Seeking anything other than a life saved isn’t on my agenda until a NHL player walks into my hospital with his son.

We’re officially off script, the moment we meet.

If this love is anything, it’s unscripted.

Fantastic story and

Loved the story Although the reader did well trying to differentiate between the two main characters would have been so much better if read as a duet . Be ready with the tissues as so sad really well written as is all of this series and the spin offs must have read them all at least twice

Followed this story from Dreame

I love, love, love this story. I have followed the author across multiple platforms and am happy to have found the Audible version. However I was distracted by the narrator at times. I found her accents too variable and the incorrect voice was used for different characters. The story is great and still managed to have me tear up. Despite the distraction, I still recommend the book

Great read

I will always love this series and I can honestly say that I wasn't excited about Zack and Denise's story at all. They were two characters that didn't intrigue me when they popped up in book 3.

Zack makes sure that he inserts himself in Denise's life because he needs her for something very important and she is his last resort to save his son. They never expected anything else to happen between them. After all, Zack is a professional ice hockey player with a jam-packed schedule and his free time is spent with his son. Denise works not stop shifts on a hospital word with children who aren't guaranteed to see next week. Love has a funny way of happening though.

Natasha Madison is very good at writing heartfelt romance and I was nervous when I figured out where this story was going which is very early on. I didn't know if she would be able to pull off the soul-crushing pain that this storyline might have needed - but oh lord did she pull it off! I teared up multiple times!

This is a great way to finish a series but I am now craving the spin-off that much more.

Good story terrible narration

loved this line of Natasha Madison books, so whilst definitely enjoyed the story, was very disappointed in the narration. Both voices done by a female and at times it was confusing as to who you were actually listening to as her voice didn't change much for each character, so a bit of a let down.
