Story
Noah: I have it all - money, looks, and any woman I want. Till I meet her and my universe is knocked on its ass and she wants nothing to do with me. Kaleigh: My motto: never date the same man twice. I have less chance of breaking my heart that way. Till my eyes land on the only man I'll break my rule for. She thinks she can run. That I'll let her get away. He thinks he can handle a woman like me. He has no idea. A man who has it all needs one thing and one thing only. A temptress.

Story
Becoming a teen mom at 16 was not what I expected, but then again, neither was being a single parent. Still, I wouldn't change my past because that boy is my world. Hockey is the only thing my son seems to care about, so I work two jobs to make sure he can play. I'd do anything to make sure he doesn't suffer because of the bad decisions his father made. When he won a whole summer of hockey training, I knew in my heart he was going to have an amazing time.

It was supposed to be the best day of my life. But the second I got up, things started to fall apart. The kitchen just caught on fire. Flowers were from a funeral. My bride-to-be just had an allergic reaction, leaving by ambulance. Oh, and my ex-girlfriend just walked into the church. They say you have to see the signs when they are right in front of you. Maybe she was just mine to have.

Being traded to Dallas was a dream come true. I had everything I wanted, my game had never been better, and my wife was due to have our baby any day now. What could go wrong? Everything. I was now raising our baby on my own. After hockey practice and games, I didn't have time to sleep, let alone make sure my social media was up to par. I never thought I'd get a second chance at love.

I fell in love with him when I was seven. I scraped my knee, and he helped carry me inside. Our love story was the talk of the town until a woman told everyone she was pregnant with his baby. The only rational solution was to high-tail it out of town and never come back. My best friend needed a place to hide, and you can’t get much more covert than my family farm, so I came back. For her. It was supposed to be temporary, and I wasn’t supposed to see him, but that’s what happens when you live in a small town where everyone knows each other.

Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice - the only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face, in between our many arguments.

Was this a book or a porno?
- By Lou on 06-09-20
Summary
Lauren:
Going back to work was supposed to be a painless transition, but when my new boss turns out to be an arrogant, cocky jerk, he quickly turns my professional life into a world of torture. Okay, fine, calling him an asshat before knowing he was my boss wasn't my finest moment. Hating him should be easy. I just never counted on him being so gorgeous or charming when he's not annoying me.
Austin:
I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I'm getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I've ever made for myself.
One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again.
Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to tempt the boss.
Contains mature themes.

Enjoyed
Enjoyed this book. Its predictable but is well written and enjoyable if you like this genre.
The one problem I have is the author, when a new chapter begins and it changes points of view to the other character, they back track and retell the same situation but through the other persons eyes. Sometimes this adds something more to the story and sometimes it's a little annoying. This is this authors style though, as I've noticed in their other books and doesn't stop me from enjoying story.

ANOTHER ENJOYABLE READ BY NATASHA
Another enjoyable read by Natasha Madison.
An enemy to lovers romance containing light, funny moments and plenty of hotness.
Lauren is starting a new job, its a new start for her now that she's a single mum and she's ready to get back Into work after divorcing her cheating husband.
Austin is one of those bosses who has worked his way through a lot of personal assistants, he's bossy, rude, basically, he's an A-hole but a hot A-hole and he's about to meet his match.
Lauren has a backbone, she's sassy and outspoken. There's instant chemistry between the two but instead of pretty fireworks there's heated explosions.
Lauren wants to prove she is no push over and tries to teach Austin, her bossy boss a lesson but it backfires more than once.
I enjoyed Tempt the boss, it's a light-hearted read with enough going on to keep you interested, I Iiked the characters and the plot although not original, I have read many similar.
I also liked Lauren's quirky sister too, who I'm looking forward to reading more about in her own book.
Hot in all the right places, swoon moments, great characters and finishes with a hea, perfect.
I listened to this in audio which was good but the male narrator's voice didn't have much emotion at times and I think the funny parts of this book may have been funnier to me if I had read this and those parts left to my own imagination rather than how he told it.

I havent laughed this hard since Beautiful Bastard
This was an awesome listen, not only was it a great romance, but it was FUNNY. I made the mistake of listening to this at work and I couldn't focus. The narration was perfect, along with the story line. So many books the female lead is some 20 something who's a virgin right out of college. This is about a 30 something single mom starting work after being a stay at home mom for years. Well worth the credit!!

Ridiculous immature pranks, ridiculous story!
After reading all the reviews about people loving this story and finding it funny, I'm scratching my head trying to figure out if we were reading the same book!
I really, really didn't like the people in this book. The two main characters, Lauren and Austin are two of the most immature main characters I think I've ever encountered in a book. Lauren goes back to work for a temp agency after her jerk of a husband leaves her for her child's teacher (she finds out during a parent teacher conference, again a ridiculous scenario). Her first job is as a PA to a CEO (how did this idiot ever get to be a CEO anyway??), who has gone through at least 10 PA's before her. She quickly finds out why no one will work for him and they begin a series of retaliation pranks that really are full-on criminal activity. I had an awful time, especially with Austin, believing that he wasn't 18 years old - that's how he acted the whole way through this book. And who hires their former childhood nanny to run an HR department? Did she go back to college after raising him to get a business degree? The fact that the nanny was running HR explained how the stupid criminal pranks went unpunished and no one was fired.
Sorry for the ranting and raving, but there is so much wrong with this book, I just couldn't write a review. Don't waste your credit and instead go get the book "The Hating Game" by Sally Thorne, which is a wonderfully written book about two people who work together and don't get along.

Tempt The Boss
The story line has promise, however the way it was written left alot to be desired. The story line flipped back and forth unnaturally, (at one point the hero left to go home on a Sunday night when he had work the next morning and no cloths to wear to work, the heroin questioned if he wanted to be in her and her kids life because he "ditched as soon as the kids came home from their dads"... meanwhile the hero has been taking her and the kids to ice skating and eating ice cream and spending alot of time with them all as a family), it just felt like forced angst to give the story some grit. There was alot of fluff here, that if it were cut out it would probably bring the book from 9 hours to 6. There was some funny banter in the beginning that had me laughing, and the character development was good.
The narrators also fell flat for me, the female narrator (Jillian Macie) does not portray a good male character voice, and there was no true inflection to give depth to the story. The male narrator (Guy Locke) came across very nasal sounding and too soft spoken for such a strong "alpha" male lead.

Couldn’t finish book
I was looking for a light, funny story . According to the other reviews, this was the book. But sadly it was not. It was silly in the beginning then quickly turned over the top ridiculous. The narrators were annoying at first but as the story worsened I couldn’t tolerate the voices any longer.

Guy Locke needs to NEVER narrate a book, ever.
First, he speaks interminably slow in an attempt to enunciate cor-recT-ly. Second, he is monotone, to a fault. Three, he sounds about as romantic as a chair. Please encourage him to read only math and manuals in the future. Thank you.

Repeat?? Why?
The overall story is good, cute and funny. Sexy times are sexy. But, the repeating of the same scene over and over in each POV is very, very annoying and unnecessary.
