Summary

A painfully awkward love story.

Incomprehensibly awkward Elizabeth Wilde is desperate for love. Connection. Intimacy. After a lifetime of romantic failures, the 21-year-old gamer realizes she needs help. Professional help. She needs...a sex tutor.

The devastatingly hot jock Austin Jacobs is just the man for the job. As the reigning campus sex god, he has the playboy act down pat. But underneath those six-pack abs beats a broken heart. He doesn't trust people, and he sure as hell doesn't believe in love.

The odd couple strikes a deal. Four weeks of "tutoring" for $5,000.

When Austin coaxes Elizabeth out from behind her computer screen, the attraction they feel is undeniable. They're both a little broken, but somehow their jagged edges fit. And when their world comes tumbling down on top of them, they each have to decide if this weird thing called love is worth fighting for.

perfect narration and story

I've been in a book funk lately and haven't been able to find anything I have enjoyed. FINALLY, I found something. This book had two amazing narrators, which is what attracted it to me in the first place. Rom Com, Jock & Geek. Full of smiles, a little angst, and some laughs. I really enjoyed this book. Worth the credit or $$ .

Sweet and gentle romance.

Lovely easy read romance. Spicy but not gratuitously so. Very easy listen. Will definitely read more of this authors work.

Very predictable

So the setup was obvious and did not disappoint. I love Teddy Hamilton and he was great as always but Elizabeth Hart had such a whiny voice it really started to grate on my nerves after about an hour. I found it so predictable that I didn't really care about either of them. It was all a bit silly.

Excellent Listen!

A fantastic performance on Audible with excellent narrators. There's nothing worse than listening to female narrators impersonate the male voice. Here we get a male and female narrator and they nailed it!

An enjoyable and interesting listen to get me through a day's work as it's one of those you don't want to put down, it's pretty solid throughout.

A young male and female accidentally fall in love and are very much in denial of it because this wasn't their intention from their meeting of an agenda!

I wouldn't say the story is coming of age, it's literally about sex with an original interesting idea.

She is learning about sex, he is pouring out his testosterone.

Highly recommended listen for its immaculate performance and original concept.

Slow start, but totally worth staying with it ❤

I was debating whether to stick with this for during the first couple of chapters, but so happy I did. A really great story, that builds and builds. The epilogue is best listened to in private, so no one sees the teary eyes such a beautiful epilogue will cause.

Teddy Hamilton is one of my favourite narrators, but Elizabeth Hart was new to me. I really enjoyed her narration style.

Although this book was included in the Plus catalogue, I'm very happy to spend a credit to download the next one in the series & hear Devin & Jessie's story.
