Summary
He's a billionaire heir. A grump supreme. Hater of people. Bigger hater of peopling with people. And my new fake boyfriend.
"Emotionally unavailable" doesn’t even begin to describe Hayes Rutherford. He’s cold. He’s distant. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement.
My job’s simple: Keep Hayes’ matchmaking relatives, and all interested ladies, away from the cranky, grumpy walled-off heir to my favorite movie empire, by pretending to be his one true love; and in return, he won’t ruin my life over a teensy tiny little misunderstanding.
But the more I sneak past his walls and fences, the more I realize that, while we might be from different worlds, we have more in common than either of us expected. The man under all the glitz, glamour, and dollar signs could be the real love of my life.
But you know what they say about fake-dating a billionaire: It’s all fun and games, until the scandals start.
The Last Eligible Billionaire is a swoony, laugh-out-loud romance, featuring a botched wax job, a woman in over her head, a man in over his heart, and the sweetest misguided dog to ever play matchmaker...or at least make sure these two anti-love birds never have clothes when they get out of the shower. It stands alone, and comes complete with grand romantic gestures.

Love Marmalade
I really loved the mad antics of the dog. Not so much the actual story. Felt the hero was a bit too whiney and poor me. The heroine was a bit too good to be true. It was a bit predictable what was going to happen . Overall it was OK

Swoony and just love that dog!
Marshmallow! Ok, so he's the dog, but I am a huge dog lover, and he just added a layer of humor to this hysterically funny and swoony romcom! Begonia is found renting Hayes Rutherford's home. Is it really for rent? The grumpy billionaire is not taking to his new tenant, until he decides to blackmail her into being his fake girlfriend. She could be the answer to his meddling mother. But what he gets is the most refreshing and funny story that I have had the chance to listen to in a long time. Pippa Grant creates the best characters, and Begonia is just fantastic. A free spirit, finds the light in everything and is ultimately the spreader of happiness. Hayes's grumpiness can only last for so long around her, no? You will have to find out for yourself! I really enjoyed this listen as Hayes has truly met his match! And of course, Marshmallow. He is the best dog!
To make this story even better, the team of Teddy Hamilton and Virginia Rose deliver a performance that had me laughing and enjoying all the feels this story had. From frustrating family, to passion filled romance, this had a little bit of everything and these two fell into character giving us the best of them. I love them together!

Love these characters
What a wonderful book. Full of Pippa fun. A very intelligent and instigating dog. Great Characters. Low angst. This was a great introduction book to these characters, I hope there will be more books from the secondary characters and I can’t wait to know all their stories. The narration was fabulous. I recommend anything Pippa.

Love Pippa Grant!
Great story! Light easy listening, I love her books. I think I have listened or read most of them now. There is nothing taxing, just great romcom. The performers were great too.

I adore this book
This book is brilliant! A truly wonderful romance, with the genius addition of Marshmallow, the most bonkers dog ever! 🐕 Laugh out loud funny moments all the way through.
I listened to the whole story twice through initially, as once just wasn't enough, and have just completed it for a third time a few weeks later.
The first Pippa Grant book I had listened to, but I loved it so much that I've been working my way through some of her others.
Wonderful narration by Virginia Rose, and Teddy Hamilton, who once again absolutely nails the narration of a grumpy, emotionally stunted man, and his slow rebuilding of confidence.

Had me laughing out loud at work
Pippa never ceases to amaze me with her wit and storytelling.
I binge listened on audible to this book as I couldn't wait any longer to get to it.
I laughed so hard so many times while listening to this one. The banter and the narrators truly made this a great one.
This book hit me in all the feels, the way B feels is honestly what many married mid 30s women feel at one point or another and the way her quirkiness overtakes this grumpy scared man is wonderful.
I would absolutely love to this particular story come to life someday as it would make for a wonderful chick flick.
I also have to admit i did cry a couple of times while listening to this story, and again i think it's because while it is wildly fantastical - the feelings or emotions hit close to home, and that for me is what keeps me binging every new release from Pippa. I forget I'm reading. it's like the characters are like people I know. Well done as usual Ms. Grant!!!

Excellent Story
I have over 2681 books in my library. Some authors attempt to write romance books. This author takes you into the story she makes you feel what the character feels this is something most authors never know how to do. Even though this is a Cinderella story I could see it happening in real life. Great love story!

Couldn’t stop listening!
This is my first book of Pippa Grant and I loved it!! I couldn’t stop listening!! This book made me laugh out loud and filled me with so much joy I have to read more of her stuff!!
I would say perfect amount of hallmark-y girl meets boy story line but with sexy action in between 😉

Being taught to love
This was a different story. One that shows how one person who is mostly happy sunshine & thinks the best of others teaches the billionaire how to love. You will laugh alot on their journey. The narrators did a great job presenting this fun story.

An unassuming billionaire falls for a creative mess.
Gosh, I enjoy Pippa Grant’s books so much. While this wasn’t one of my top favorites, I adored the character of Begonia. Her quirks were just a delight to me. Hayes was also quite refreshing as a billionaire that actually didn’t feel like a billionaire.
All in all though, the story could have used a little more oomph, but if you’re looking for a fun, easy read, this is it.
I just loved how Hayes loved Begonia. He went all in and in a way that supported her growth.
The narration was top tier, which for me, elevated the story. Teddy Hamilton’s Hayes had that sort of grounded voice that I imagined. Virginia Rose knocks it out of the park with her narration. She’s just so good in Pippa’s books.
A pleasing read, especially if you’re a fan of fun romcoms.

Pippa, you are a master of comedy!
You will never be disappointed with a Pippa book. She is the master of romantic comedies. Hayes and Begonia are my new favorite couple. Teddy and Virginia bring them to life in the most perfect way.

Ridiculous…even for a rom-com.
Begonia is so unlikeable. Hayes is also unlikeable. Hope they manage to fall for each other is not even remotely believable. The attempts at slapstick comedy are tragic. “You can’t buy my love!”…but that’s literally all he does the whole book. All I listen to is rom-com and this is the worst one yet. And Teddy Hamilton speaking in a woman’s voice will forever garner a one star performance. Virginia Rose was good though.
