Summary
When gods and demons clash, mortals bleed.
Leda Pierce's latest mission brings her back to her hometown at the edge of the Frontier. But things have taken a turn for the worse in the six months since she left home to join the Legion of Angels in New York City. Crime lords now rule over the town, and the beasts' numbers are exploding just beyond the great magic wall that separates humanity from the plains of monsters.

This was my favourite book so far. It was so full of amazing storytelling and the world building is continuing to grow it into something even *more*!👏
The narrator was even better in this audiobook. She seems to be finding her stride in these characters, I loved it.⭐️
Wow, Jaces' Dad is awful.🥺 I really feel for him. I fear for everyone if he stays in NY!
I loved how much closer Nero and Leda are becoming, no matter how much she fights it. There were some tame but still scorching scenes between them.🔥
That reveal, even on a re-read, came as a fun surprise.😍 I adore this series.⭐️😇
