Summary

The battle rages on.

Ali Bell and Cole Holland's crew of zombie slayers thought they'd won the war against Anima Industries, the evil company responsible for capturing and experimenting on zombies in an effort to discover the secret to immortality. In the last epic clash, the slayers lost many of their crew and closest friends. But Frosty, the ice man himself, has not recovered from one casualty in particular - the love of his life, Kat Parker.

On the path to self-annihilation, Frosty receives a message from beyond - Kat's spirit returns, insisting he partner with rogue slayer Camilla Marks. Frosty will do anything for Kat. Except that. Camilla is the one who betrayed them all, leading to Kat's death.

But when Anima rises from the grave to become a force the slayers may not have the strength to overcome, Frosty, Camilla and all the slayers will have to work together to survive. And one broken slayer will learn that sometimes the line between hate and attraction is blurred - and the road to redemption isn't through revenge but in letting go of the past and grabbing hold of the future.

Needs a movie.

This has been a great series. While I would have liked to know every single person in it wasn't perfect looking, some normal people that aren't described as model like, I still fully enjoyed this closure to the series. For the most part predictable as well as at times drawn out, it still was a great idea to follow 2 different characters for this book. I greatly enjoyed it overall and wish there was a movie series to go with it.

Disappointed!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I loved the first three books in this series and couldn't wait to listen to this, but boy was it disappointing. First off there's basically no Ali in this book, It's all Frosty and Mila who just aren't that exciting to begin with. The voice for Frosty was just terrible. He sounded like a 45 year old cowboy and he was supposed to be an 18 year old hottie? Mila's voice was terrible too and just super annoying. It wasn't believable to me that Frosty loved Kat the way he did and then a few months later completely falls head over heels for someone who helped in her killing? I don't think so. The Alice in Zombieland books are about Alice/Ali, they should've stayed that way.

never a dull moment, Gena is a literary genuis!

fromt beginning to end this whole series is a rollercoaster. it broke my heart and warmed it, I laughed, I cried, I even got angry. this book is such a refreshing change from just Ali's pov. Both voice actors for Frosty and Mila were phenomenal, I can't even states how much I love this series and this book in particular. This book and the whole series brings forth a wonderful message to stay true to the people you love and find ways around obstacles that seem insurmountable without hurting anyone. there are probably other messages, too, but those are what I took away from this. I fell in love with every character and if one died it felt the same as if it were a friend. Showalter does an amazing job at conveying the vices and virtues of people and it really shows in this book. absolutely wonderful. 1000/10 would recommend and reread. or relisten.

SO CONFUSING !!!

Lets start by saying this is YA, I Loved the 1st 3 books, this book was confusing, Ali and Coal have no real place in the book which was disappointing. Ali/Alice wiped the memories of Rebecka and Mella in the 1st books but in this book they both have there memories back with no explanation as if it never happened. Some of the characters have new nick names which made it hard to place them in the stories. I liked Roger Wayne as a narrator his voice was kinda sexy, I felt like Saskia Maarleveld was good for the female voices but not for the male characters. she sounded forced or constipated. Natalie Gold was a good narrator but the male voices were to feminine. over all Its an ok story.

I enjoyed Frosty's point of view and the follow up epilogue. The narrators did a great job as well.
