Summary

Disappearances, deaths, threats.... The local police are beginning to suspect all these crimes are linked. They're being committed by the sinister and mysterious Volkov family. There's just one problem: They can't prove it. 

In order to take down the Volkovs and put a stop to these crimes, they call in a young, ambitious policeman, Antonin Jelennski. Antonin travels hundreds of miles, leaving his fiancee behind, to go undercover and infiltrate the Volkovs' organization. He pins down incriminating evidence, but he finds far more than they ever expected. Can he expose the dark secrets of the Volkovs and stop their crimes before it's too late?

brilliant

I really enjoyed this story, it had a great mix of romance, peril and excitement. The narrators tone was relaxing, somehow even when it was a tense bit in the story. He manages to convey the feeling of the characters and you go along, feeling what they are, while he also keeps you grounded. It wouldn't usually be a topic I would go for, but I'm so glad I did.

Slow Burn, Suspenseful Read!

It started slow and then grew suspenseful and just when I was getting invested tragedy struck. And now I want to know what happens next! If you enjoy suspense-filled, crime story, I totally recommend this edgy book. I will surely be checking out more stories by the author.
