About this listen
The first semester is ending. It's time to take on the Tower!
The excursion was a mess. Sal's trust in his team is at rock bottom from the actions of another in the final fight. He now needs to enter the Tower and fight demons with the same person who betrayed him.
As if that wasn't enough, he's pretty sure the former Super-Rookie and wonder kid on his team is actually a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode.
Faced with the accusation that he's squandering his power, Sal is forced to question what type of Hero he wants to become. He's already pushing the limits of Mythcrafting, but if he's to really live up to his potential, it's time for him to focus on the ability he was born with: Skill Master.
The first semester is coming to an end, and the race to become a part of the Saviour class is on. With only a short amount of time to prepare for the Tower, Sal will need as much help as he can get to have a chance of success.
It's time for Sal to start creating a whole new weave...
Narrated in duet style.

The tower climbing action in this book builds perfectly on the conflicts from the last one, pushing the characters, especially Sal, to face both external and internal demons. The crafting system is well thought out, and I love how Sal approaches it as a challenge to keep improving.
Rebecca Woods and Daniel Wisniewski’s narration continues to bring so much life to the story, complementing the author’s worldbuilding in the best way. Pure class!

The storyline in this book pays far too much attention on the properties of "unicorn farts" I'm not interested in the incoherent properties or whatever they tried to explain for far too many chapters.
What is it with the women sounding like Munchkins who have just sat on a pin, I can't imagine anyone finding it an attractive trait.
What is it with the constant bouts "laughter" it was off putting.
What is it with the accents and why chose the most unattractive ones rather than Northern Irish chose the kinder Southern Irish accenr, rather that the Glaswegian why not the far more palatable Edinburgh accent.
That said these are minor gripes found in many books of the genre as are same phrases commonly found so common I wondered if these books are written by AI
Such a pity it could have been so much better
