About this listen
Asher Henderson. Captain of the Highnam Academy football team, and the bane of my existence.
As Alstone High’s team captain, I’ve been pitted against him from the beginning, but our conflict isn’t only reserved for the pitch. Everyone knows we’re enemies. From our first encounter, our rivalry has been escalating, spiraling out of control. Until one night when everything between us changed.
He pushed me too far, and we crossed a line that should never have been crossed. Now, I can’t get him out of my head. Can we ever be more than rivals, or are there too many obstacles in our way? One thing I know for sure. Things between us will never be the same again.
Savage Rivals is a stand-alone M/M new adult high school romance with enemies-to-lovers and gay-awakening themes. This audiobook contains mature situations and content.
Note: Originally included in the Brutal Boys on Devils Night collection, this edition of Savage Rivals has been expanded with additional content.

A really good audio to listen to
The book was good, not great, but the narration made it all the way better.
Instead of a simple enemies to lovers, the author chose rivals to lovers. That meant that not only the main characters couldn’t bear each other, but they were also riled up by the people around them. Asher and Levi are in rival football team–football as in its European meaning of soccer. They start off on the wrong foot until they’re playing not funny pranks on each other’s team with the help of their teammates. Because of that, they think of the other non stop. Though they have no idea what’s happening, we as reader already know that something else is going on. The fun is seeing how they’ll get to the same conclusion.
There’s a lot of lust at the beginning. Frankly, I had trouble seeing anything else for a long time. They’re young men, horny pretty much all the time, so that they end up experimenting with each other didn’t seem strange. But we get several conversation when they discover they get each other–the pressure to succeed with their team, life as high schooler, being young men in search of their sexuality… They slowly form a connection, and I was all for that.
As it’s basically the story of two men experiencing their bisexuality, intimacy is an important part of the book. It sure was sexy. I had a hard time with the feeling it was an ‘intercourse check list’. You know, first we do something soft, then we experiment further, etc. Until we get all the way. It sort of made sense, but still bothered me a bit.
The whole high school experience was quite spot on. The troubles in class. The pressure. The relationships with friends and teammates. There weren’t a lot of adults though.
Done in duet narration, the audio was excellent. Both narrators are British, so the accents were great. And they were perfect for the characters. Asher was cocky, Levi more reserved. A really good audio to listen to, really.

Great Enemies to Lovers Romance!
I loved Asher and Levi's enemies to lovers MM romance. I liked their witty banter, their pranks, and their sizzling romance. They are both great characters. This is a great slow burn sports romance, and I enjoyed it. James Joseph and Will Watt did an excellent job with the narration.

Ash & Levi💕
Love the glimpse that we got of Levi & Ash in the Brutal Boys collection!! You know what they say about love & hate and they have that in spades🔥❤️
Absolutely love the rest of their story!! I love that Levi’s parents were cool AF about Ash and I’m also glad that Becca wrote Ash’s mom as a little resistant. We get to see both sides of coming out. It’s not always easy and that side should be shown as well. I was so very happy that she did accept Ash & Levi. It just takes some parents a bit longer to get past their idea of who you should love.
Love their epilogue💕 seriously!! How cool is Levi’s job😍

Amazing
I can’t express how much I love this book Asher and Levi are perfect together . They always say there’s a fine line between love and hate and those two proved it. James Joseph and Will Watt were the perfect narrators for this .

So Hot!
This was another epic enemies to lovers story by Becca Steele.
Levi & Asher aren’t the typical rivals, they are arch nemesis on & off the field.
How far will they go to even the score?

These two 🥵🥵
I loved this book the first time I read it and honestly didn’t think it could get any better! However, hearing it with two voice actors just made it so much better!!!
These two boys own my heart and this is 100% my favourite MM romance of all time! Becca just keeps nailing it with her books and audiobooks! Cannot wait to see what she does next!

Absolutely loved this one
It's my first Becca Steele book, and it did not disappoint at all. I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms after reading God of Fury, and I really wanted another MM romance book that would give me the same vibes as that book. Although it didn't quite match up to God of Fury level, it's still one of my favourites and I'm glad I listened to the audiobook of it! I loved the book so much so, I bought the paperback just to have as a trophy book. I can't wait to read more of Becca Steele's books.

Fantastic MM audiobook
Levi and Asher's story was quite good, sports romance is one of my favorite tropes for MM stories, and this one will have you reading it in o time, I love Becca's writing, the way she describes everything really drags me into the book world. The enemies to lovers with some angst was a cherry on top for me, it really gets to you in a good way. Bravo! The narrations by James Joseph and Will Watt was fantastic, well edited and good sound quality. Their pronunciation and acting was spot on.
