Summary
Ally Nightingale has secrets. Secrets she doesn't even share with the Rock Chicks. But two men know what she's up to. One has her back. The other has her heart, but he doesn't know it.
As Ally rewinds the last year of her life, she knows two things. One, she’s never going to get what every Rock Chick should have - her own Hot Bunch guy. And two, she’s a Nightingale through and through. She just isn’t sure what to do about that.
But as her secrets are revealed, the men in her life react. Darius Tucker, a lifelong friend, as usual takes her back. Ren Zano, the man she loves, isn’t quite so sure. The Rock Chicks, Hot Bunch, and the entire gang at Fortnum’s weigh in, and a Rock Chick Revolution starts brewing. It’s up to Ally to control it and prove what she knows down to her bones.
She’s a Rock Chick, she deserves her hot guy and she’s going to keep the one she wants.… Because she’s a Nightingale.

Final Rock Chick
This book is a little slower in pace and a bit thinner on story than previous titles. The incorporation of Kristen Ashley and her books into the reality of the Rock Chick universe is almost unbearably cutesy. Nonetheless if you enjoyed the other books it's a nice ending to the series.

A bit of everything
I always love Susannah Jones performance and as always she was PERFECT here too.
I love the story, it has a bit of everything (drama, action, sassy remarks, hilarious parts and sad ones too). Great almost finally to this series.

Great book
I loved this book. I adored all the Rock Chick books but this had a fabulous roundup of all the RC’s and their families.

Ali is such a badass
I fell in love with Ali in the first Rock Chick book with Indy. Ali knows her limits and always entertains me. Such a strong woman in a very scary world. Again as with all the books great characters fantastic storyline and such a brilliant performance from Susannah.

Brilliant
I’ma big fan of both Kristen Ashley and the Rock Chick series and this was my absolute favourite! Through many of the previous stories we caught brief glimpses of Ren and Ally’s relationship but they were kept frustratingly brief so my anticipation for this book was sky high! It didn’t disappoint. Remand Ally were brilliant and their relationship was the most satisfying to me. With the previous stories I was often frustrated by the core relationship dynamics no matter how funny the dialogue. With this Ren and Ally were equals and treated one another as such! When they were wrong they apologised and the accepted one another for who they were. The plot was really good as well though as I’ve found with all the previous books in the series it’s the humour, characters and relationship that I really loved. The narration was excellent as well.

My least favourite
My least favourite of the series. The story was slow. It took a long time for anything to happen and when there was finally some suspense it was all over and resolved in a flash.
I fast forwarded the endless amount of sex scenes and I still couldn't wait to get to the end. Disappointed.

Sad it’s over :(
The rock chicks and hot guys have been a part of my life for weeks and now it’s over! Im so sad. These books are amazing and tick every box for me. I loved every word and chapter of every book. I fell in love right along with them all as the stories went on.

A must listen
I freekin’ loved this audiobook. I haven’t listened to the chicks for a year and have no idea why I didn’t listen to it earlier. It’s possibly my favourite Rock chick book. KA is a genius and is responsible for retaining my sanity during covid lockdown in England. Thank you 🙏🏼. Susannah Jones is my favourite female narrator, she’s fabulous
Oh and I hope Darius starts telling you his story soon 😌

Rock Chick Revolution
I already said this in my last review of book 7, that I have 2 favorites because I can’t choose. This is the other half to my favorite!
Ally & Ren
So much goes on in this book, it’s sad to be at the end of these incredible characters but all good things must come to an end right. I laughed, I had tears, and I fist pumped. Even though this is the 4th re read… What can I say these characters are entertaining.
Ally is Hank and Lee’s little sister also Indy’s best friend and she always but always had the investigators bug just like her brothers. But convincing them this isn’t easy.
I think of Ally & Indy as the original Rock Chicks so it’s kind of fitting that one was first and the other was the last.
The fight/pull between Ren and Ally for them to get to a good place is fun and witty and heart breaking. I love how he just wanted her no matter what. I love how strong willed Ally is she doesn’t let anyone or anything get her down, and she goes after what she wants. She isn’t willing to settle any more. And she shouldn’t have to.
“Baby, you’re gorgeous. The way you wear a dress is goddamned foreplay. The way you give me everything and nothing, making you a challenge only a real man would accept, is all kinds of hot. The way you give as good as you get in bed, totally unselfish at the same time phenomenally greedy… f...........k,” - Ren
I love the twist with the Rock Chick books, being made in to books, in this book. I loved that.
“Off our lives,” Hank pointed out. “That’s the rub,” Lee stated. “ ‘Cause what does it hurt when what it does is give one of our own the key to her dreams” - Lee and Hank
I can’t really say what I loved book 7 and 8 more than the others I just do. And getting a glimpse in to the after is just awesome with all their kids.
I really could go on and on about this book and all the ins and outs about it but that would defeat the purpose of you reading it.
Or listening as I did and again the narrator is WICKED AWESOME!
So what are you waiting for :D
I loved this as well Tex call Ally BA, as in Bad Ass and Ally think this is cool here is her thought.
‘I was Fortnum’s own Mr. T, except white, female and without the Mohawk. Righteous!’

*Clap*Clap*Clap*Clap*Clap*Clap*Clap
This book deserves a slow clap****** to a full standing O!
What a way to end one hell of a series! I loved this book... Ok... we all know Ali... she is a Nightingale... so O'course Ali is gonna be a badass! I simply love the way Ashely writes a book. I totally felt Ali's frustration from her family and friends, especially her brothers... I have two big brothers, that I look up too, but they are so darn overprotective. I get it! This book was simply awesome.
And REN!!! I loved Ren... he was flushed out so much... I felt like I knew him personally. From Ren's lust over Ava to bam... Ren and Ali... I loved it. I liked how Ren was totally cool and calm, until he wasn't! Ren turned out to be a good bad guy! Loved it...
Narration was awesome.
This is a definite credit or sale, especially if you have books 1-7... A buy if you don't have a credit but must complete this series. This is pricey but well worth it...

Perfect End to an Addictive Series
I love this entire series, but I know some people didn't care for the "weaker" heroines in the series. Even if I just described you, I think you will love Ally and Ren. This last installment has a LOT going on, even more so than the previous books, and I would say that they all have mostly non-stop, fast-paced, action/drama with a perfect amount of humor. This has one of my favorite Rock Chicks matched up with what may well be my absolute favorite hot guy of all time. There's obviously relationship drama between Ren and Ally, and while Ally is slightly clueless about her hot guy (as per usual Rock Chick form), her insecurity is well-founded, and thankfully, that is resolved pretty early on in the book. I like that she recognizes when she is wrong and is repentant about the trouble that caused. (What I'm saying is that she isn't a woman who just thinks she ain't all that and is a "pain in the ass" until Duke can finally "sort her out" a few chapters after you wanted to slap her and tell the guy to move on because he can do better.) Ren is definitely an alpha male, but unlike some of the Hot Bunch, he uses his "a-hole speak" sparingly and for good reasons, then cools down, reflects, apologizes if necessary and supports his woman no matter what. He loves Ally with no conditions, even when he really wants to insist on some. Oh yeah, Ren, BEST. GUY. EVER.
DRAMA: Ally wants to go into the "family business," but there's a lot of resistance. Rosie's back and brings trouble. Indy and the RC's are not happy with Little Miss Spill keeping secrets. The Rock Chick books are starting to be published, and hot-guy, macho-man badasses are NOT amused. Mr. Kumar needs help in the 'hood. Ren has family business problems of his own. There are weddings to be planned, and Todd is on-edge. Smithie's got troubles. Someone has a very creepy interest in Ally. And then, there's Darius.
If you liked the series, you will not be disappointed in the final book. The epilogue is awesome and promises that we will see at least some of these characters again, hopefully in the near future. Narrator is great for this series. 17 hours flew by. I laughed and smiled as usual, and I did actually tear up at the end because it's sad that it's over. For me, the Revolution is that I want to go back and start the ride all over again. SO SO SO worth the credit!

The grand fin-Ally
This whole series is well worth the read, and I liked the way the story of Fay was added. Alley keeping her secrets really hurts, not sharing with friends and family, fighting her demons on her own, truly sucks, it's great though that she has such a great shadow to help. loved the way the author became a part of the stories. Great listen and read, Kristen Ashely Rocks...

Righteous!
This was bittersweet-an awesome story, but the end of the Rock Chick series. I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed reading the book when it first came out in ebook. Ally and Ren's story is hot, hot, hot. Ally is the Rock Chick with the most attitude and the one that thinks she will never have "that kind of love." She meets her match in Ren, although she has known him for a long time, when things become personal. I enjoyed watching Ally evolve so much from the Rock Chick who was always the irresponsible and do-it-now, worry-about-it-later one to the one who realized that to make her dreams come true, she had to grow up some. Ren's possessiveness, protectiveness, and support of Ally rocked the story too. Definitely worth a credit or purchase. I will be listening to this one over and over.

All over the place.
I read all of the books in the Rock Chick series and found the formula getting old towards the last few. This one tried to tie up loose ends and I found that distracting. I liked Ally and Rens relationship and the story but again it was all over the place.

I laughed out loud, often!
Read all 8. Very funny, reader was pretty good. The frequent repetition of same phrases was driving me nuts though. The stories were basically all the same, but still enjoyable. The characters were great!
