Pretty good
Use the same narrator for the next book(s). I like the way the characters back story was written in Not to much back story just enough to give you a sense of their characters. Great action and drama kept the story going. Just one thing though give Charles some back bone after all he wants his family back.

Not the best
Kind of a let down after one and two, I’m not into cars, so the car races were kind of boring.

Awesome story
The 2nd installment is very action packed at time and others it rambles a bit too long in my opinion. But the story definitely keeps you engaged and leaves you craving more.

worth a listen
This book was included in my membership and I'm glad. While trying not to spend too much on audio books I have been exposed to too many awful books. Life is too short for bad books. This is the second book in the series, good, not great and worth a listen.

Sorry, can't go on...
I tried, the first book was an audible plus but the 2nd I had to plunkI down a hard earned credit. I was hesitant as the book didn't blow me away but it was ok so I bought it.
Sorry, I shoulda saved the credit. Maybe if was still in 8th grade I would finish the series but I'm not so I won't.
If the whole series ever comes out omnibus and goes on sale maybe I'll be tempted to finish. just maybe.. Great narration though just not enough to keep me listening.

so awesome!
the character development is second to none every time you're introduced to someone new within a couple of chapters feel like you know these people like lifelong neighbors there's a few NPC along the way and even they are interesting. so far this is one of my favorite invasion stories. what a different take on alien technology physiology biology . with so many different cast of alien characters it's never boring.

Action all day, every day
The author did a great job carrying my interest from the first book (Invasion Day: They came for blood book 1). As I stated in my review of book one, I am no fan of vampire stories. I generally avoid them. It was because of this author I took a chance and glad I did.
Generally, stories about blood sucking enemies lose my interest at warp speed. That was NOT this book. This was more Sci-Fi earth invasion than vampire. In fact, it was loaded with gritty action and hard choices. The protagonists were relatable, and enemies thoroughly hate-able.
The narrator was the right person for this job.
I found myself glued and fully entertained from the first to the last chapter. I am glad I took the chance. I was not disappointed but found myself buying the third book before I was finished with this one.
Highly recommend. 5 stars, all three categories.
