Summary
A mother's love...
Haunted by ghosts of terrors past...
Menley Nichols as never stopped blaming herself for the accidental death of her two-year old son, a tragedy that strained her marriage and her sanity. When she and her husband Adam, a high-profile attorney, are blessed with a beautiful new baby daughter, they dedicate themselves to rebuilding their lives together - unaware that someone in their midst has a very different agenda for them.
Yearning to return to his Cape Cod roots for a late summer respite, Adam moves his family into Remember House, an 18th-century sea captain's house as legendary as it is picturesque. But the Nichols are immediately drawn into a dark and threatening web of events that disrupt the seemingly peaceful seaside town. As mysterious incidents amass into a cloud of menace, Menley must soon confront the shadows of the past...and the mounting fear for her beloved daughter's life....

One of Mary Higgins Clark’s Best
Wow great book, character have a lot more depth then other books, and the goody goody persona that marks many of her other female leads is replaced by an intelligent curious, but traumatized woman, who you are not sure if you should be rooting for or if she needs to go to a mental institution. Great book!

Remember Me
This is one of my favorite books written by Mary Higgins Clark. A murder mystery that takes place on the Cape. Who could ask for more. It kept my interest from the beginning to the very end.

Great book.... Horrible narrator
The book is great! Love the story line and I've always loved Mary Higgins Clark's books, but jeez! The narrator is horrible! Her exaggerated voices make listening to the book unbearable. Please use someone else!

MH Clark tells a ghost story
This book was Mary Higgins Clark doing some of her strongest work. It is clear she had an idea to tell a story with the feeling of a ghost story that was not a ghost story. I enjoyed the characters, the premise, and solid suspense. She did a great job setting up the peices of the puzzle and I enjoyed how the protagonist was able to put everything together while dealing with her trauma.
a good edge of the seat mystery.

Well worth the read
Thoroughly entertaining read. Loved the multiple stories and the, “I didn’t see that coming” conclusion. An outstanding reader makes for an exciting read with realistic characters. 👍👍
