The series is exceptional
Rather than review each book in the series individually, all I can say after 10 years of audible membership is that this series along with the sons of valor books (by same authors) are the best I’ve found. Far superior to Greaney, Childs, Carr, Hurwitz etc. The characterisation, wide ranging military detail, exciting plots and humour are outstanding. Cannot rate highly enough!

Great escapism with a thin veil of realism. You can forgive the gung ho Americanism because it so much fun. Ray porter is the best and what he does.

Great book and a great series
loved this series of book, I get really invested in the characters. I actually listened to collateral first since it's was included in my membership, it was very good and good my into the series. Can't wait for the next one.

Just bloody brilliant
I've reviewed every book so far in this series. this one just delivered in every way. I'm so immersed in the story and characters and that's all down to the authors and narrator. The research that most have been done & details in these books are on another level. They really make you believe. I've not read/listened to anything like these and I'm dreading having to find something else when i finish this series, as I don't think anything will live up to them.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. The series goes from strength to strength, with top of the class narration as always. Porter really brings the characters to life. Highly recommended.

Adreline-pumping funfest
Skillfully crafted thriller plot with likeable and realistic characters, occasional humour as they interact, occasional sadness, welcome new faces and well-loved old ones, and non-stop action as the hunt for the bad guys ratchets up a few notches and the body count rises. More enjoyable and believable than Jack Ryan. The narrator is versatile, with different voices and accents, and uses pauses and emphases in an the right places to faithfully deliver both the language and the style of the authors. Loved every minute of it.
