Summary
Corrupted.

Engaging and good paced story
i realy liked this book. the mc's progression is unorthodoks and happens at a good pace, with little to no downtime thats boring. caracter development is also natural, the short time skips are well done and comes natural. the story is cool, and a little mysterious for rigth now, sins some things have to wait for the next book to know more. i eagerly look forward to the next book, hope it wont be to long!

Great story
it starts a little slow to start and I didn't think it was for me but I gave it a chance and ime so glad I did on the second book now and it just gets better

Great main character faces the challenges of fate
The setup in this book makes for a rather fun set of plot devices... The world building is great, too! I love that the author doesn't forget to keep the main character's abilities, improvements and general behaviour consistent with the events she goes through. Looking forward to the next book.

splendid
a fantastic take on the wuxia/cultivation trope. a good mc who isn't instantly op but has the potential to become op. the narrator does a great job bringing both the story and characters to life

One of my favourites
When I started this book I assumed it would be an average cultivation book. But the storyline is very good. Good enough that I want to read the next book in the serise. This does have an overpowered protagonist, but she starts our very weak and the methods she obtains her power makes a lot of sense to the story and is not too overpowered for her progress. The narration is good and suits thr characters well. I would recommend this book fully.

A Great Start!
Got this book on a whim and I am so glad I did.
The story is enjoyable, set on the outskirts of a large empire, about proper cultivation, meridians etc, not too heavy on stats. Good action and some comical moments.
The world building is really good and the narration is top notch.
Looking forward to the next in the series.
