A 10+ Star Story & Listen🎧Diabolically Brilliant!
There is no secret how much I love Eva Winners’ “Belles & Mobsters” series, and this is just as amazing as the books before it. This fantastic enemies-to-lovers mafia romance had me right from the start, grabbing my attention like no other and captivating it straight to the end. Raphael Santos was born into the mafia world, he earned the name Diablo, the devil, when he was a young boy. His father earned his hatred, not just for how he treated his mother, but for his cruelty and business dealings. Raphael is nothing like his father, sure he is not on the up and up, but he is not cruel and he works with others, including Nico and Alexei, to take down trafficking rings. Raphael was in one of his clubs when a girl with silvery blonde hair caught his attention, but she was too young and nothing happened. He never forgot her or stopped looking for her. They came from completely different worlds, worlds that were intertwined, though they had not known it at the time. Sailor McHale was in the club that night with her sister Anya, and friends Aurora and Willow. Raphael may have saved Sailor from a brute that night in the club, but after they left, there was no one that could save her sister and what she and her friends had to witness. Back to the present, Sailor is determined to take down her father and the cartel. Her father is like political royalty, who is corrupt and aligned with powerful people, making him untouchable. As the story goes on, we learn just how sick and depraved he really is, and her mother was not better either. It has been eight years since they first met, but Raphael has another reason to want Sailor. First, he needs to get her and her son to safety, since she ticked off the wrong people. I loved how everything played out in this book, and as always, the writing, plotting, and world building is fantastic, as is the character development and world building. The depth and layers of the story are brilliant, and how it was all woven together. There is non-stop drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn, but so worth the way romance. Eva Winners, thank you for another brilliant story and wild ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Eva Winners chose the perfect cast to bring her characters to life. Stephanie Kay and Troy Duran are superbly talented narrators and versatile voice artists. Their portrayal of each character was exceptional, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona, and they were believable in every role they played. Troy Duran killed it as Raphael, playing the swoon worthy, over protective, bossy take no nonsense, alpha perfectly. Stefanie Kay’s Sailor was perfection too, grasping all sides of her personality, from her strengths to her vulnerabilities, she nailed them all. Both were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Steamy And Suspenseful
The perfect blend of action and a SIZZLING romance that will take your breath away. I loved the intense, high stakes this book upheld throughout the entire storyline, it made me constantly on the edge of my seat. I never knew where the next moment was heading, and I loved every second of it. Paired with the explosions and secrets bombs, this was a book I never got bored of reading. Not even once.
There is serious topics so please check tw's as some scenes are pretty intense and could be upsetting for readers who find eg, SA (detailed) triggering, so only read what you can handle. However, I would highly suggest picking this to listen to, its truly an immersive experience you will become addicted to.

Love this episode of Belles & Mobsters!
How does she do it? Eva Winners comes through with another impossibly good installment to her Belles and Mobsters series. I cannot get enough of these men. Not only are they incredible dark and dangerous, but they have a charisma that pulls me in and keeps me wanting more. Raphael first saw Sailor when she was too young to even think about. But that did not stop him from having her rule his mind. Now 8 years later, things have changed. She is caring for her sister's son, and they are in danger. But why her do you ask? Well, there are a lot of twists and turns in this story that will reveal his heart. but the build up and excitement is all part of the fun! Raphael proves his worth in spades and Sailor is quite the woman! You too will love this thrilling episode of Belles and Mobsters and enjoy seeing a few from the past including Nico and Alexei! Fantastic camaraderie and Winners gives that connection making the series flow. This is a fabulous story!
And making it even better is the amazing narration! A team like Troy Duran and Stefanie Kay cannot be beat. Duran pulls out the dark and delicious voice as Raphael. A slight accent, a bit of danger and it's perfect. Kay finds the essence of Sailor. Her protectiveness of her son, her wall around her heart and the way she finds her way. This could not have been better cast. It's so good!

The Devil came to collect
Raphael Santos is the devil. But who better to protect you than the devil himself? Sailor & Gabrielle are about to have their lives changed forever, but is the devil coming to steal their souls or burn the world down for them?
This was full of treachery, tragedy & vengeance. It was full of heat & hope.

Raphael = love
I loved this so much. It was so appealing and hot. Everything about the story grabbed my attention . I literally could not put it down. The narrators matched the characters and story really well. I need to go back and listen to the others.

This book is brutal. With so much anger these characters know how to get revenge. It’s very well written and the characters show so much strength. A fantastic performance.

Addictive Listening
I can't get enough of the Belles & Mobsters series and it's related reads.
Obsessed Possessive Anti-heroes and the women that bring them to their knees. I love the steamy banter and the suprise twists. Raphael and Sailor's romance starts with a dance, but in this dark mafia world nothing can ever be that simple. There's some difficult and heartbreaking scenes in this story but the HEA is worth every step in the journey.
Great mafia read. Everytime I finish one I'm straight on looking for another Eva Winners read. This whole mafia universe is amazing.
