Summary

Combined with his pending marriage to the half-nymph Lady Cassandra, he had more on his plate than he could ever hope to accomplish anytime soon.
The Dark Paladin: After vanquishing Tantalus and freeing the dragons, newly married Alex Rogers was looking forward to some time alone with Cassie, his wife. The two even talked of a little getaway for a honeymoon before he returned to his duties as Lord Protector of Windfall. Unfortunately, the forests and cities of his old home was not the destination he hoped for.

Wow, amazing box set, well written Mr Lamb.
This was one he'll of a fantastic series, well defined characters which I related to. The narrators were excellent to I loved their characterisations. The only little niggle was the dwarf king who spoke Yiddish, I don't understand it apart from verklempt. lol I have just purchased book four, so I am going to lie in bed and listen all night, without falling asleep I hope. lol.

Lighthearted adveture
A good one if you just want something to turn your mind off. Predictible story, shallow caracters, zero struggle. Sounds bad I know but somehow it works. As I said, if you want something that your mind can work on, this is NOT it.

Brilliant
Loved these books!
The first 3 in this series are amazing, I couldn’t stop listening.
The 4th book however has a different narrator, and it ruins all. Tried to listen but I had to return it and got my credit back.

A Magical Listen
An enjoyable story with good narration too. If you enjoy a fantasy tale with magic and maidens, elves and dwarfs, this is for you.
Loved the dwarf speech too.

Not bad - for a freebie!
A fantasy tale with more than a few nods, IMHO, to Terry Brooke’s Magic Kingdom tales. Beautiful princesses, dragons, elves, swords & sorcery and evil baddies, not a bad mix and, best of all, it’s included in with your membership!

Loved it
Great easy listening fantasy adventure. Everything I’d expect cleverly written to indulge both real and fantasy realms. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, Wizards, Mermaids, Nymphs, shape shifters and Kinsie the wolf/dog.
