Summary
It was a game, now it's his life.
The Sky Realms Online Complete Series Box Set is an epic LitRPG adventure set in a virtual world where anything can happen...maybe even death.
Hall had played the VRMMORPG Sky Realms Online since beta. During one gaming session, a freak accident traps Hall and other players in the game. They awaken to find out their bodies are comatose and that they have been downloaded fully into the virtual world. Even worse, the rules have changed, they've been forced back to level one, and permadeath might be possible.
Join Hall and his growing circle of friends and enemies, both Players and NPCs, as they discover that Sky Realms Online is not the same game they knew. New lands, new foes, and new mysteries.
Grab this special-edition full series omnibus today and dive headfirst into the action-packed world of Sky Realms Online. It's a LitRPG saga perfect for fans of J.A. Hunter, Dakota Krout, and Edward Brody.

Not enough story
Not enough story as it seems half the book is taken up with combat scenes. The combat scenes are also very repetitive. How many times do I need to hear him stabbing someone with a sword.
Also quite often repeats other things to many time. I like the story but had to skip the combat scenes.

Good story well told
I enjoyed this tale with a nice angle to the LitRPG trope.
And its always nice to have a complete story with a satisfying conclusion

Better than you expect worse than you hoped
Epic long story but probably repeated itself to the tune of 25hours.
The skill gain of the main characters is difficult to follow, slow and underwhelming.
The quests within quest scenario makes you want to skip it to the best bits and is frustrating.
Love the treasure finds, airship travel, floating islands, the alliance bonus with individuals and factions, and the development of Hall's village.
Just wish he'd got that returning spear he had pre glitch.
It drove me mad that the original Grove custodian was so often alluded to.....he was a nobody in the story aaaagggghjjjjj
But thank you for giving us a box set of 6 for 1 CREDIT

an engaging and evolving story.
what started off as a fairly typical LitRPG story evolved and changed several times throughout the telling of the story.
The characters were likeable and relatable, the villains were also relatable, a wonderfully terrible thing in my experience, healthy doses of modern themes with a fantasy backdrop.
wonderfully narrated, with each character having a unique voice.
sad to have it come to an end.

A MASSIVE listen for just 1 credit
A great series of books with enjoyable characters and quests. Sometimes it’s a little repetitive (especially multi-kill xp rewards) but overall well worth a listen and really well narrated with clearly distinguishable characters.
Would definitely listen to more.
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.

Voice Acting, Noooooo!
I don't often review audiobooks, but in this case I'm making an exception. I also avoid leaving negative feedback, but here again, I'm making an exception. Now, I've read a lot of LitRPG, and to be brutally honest, not much of it it at all 'Lit'. Plenty of RPG, not much literature. Understandable, since the authors are focusing on a particular niche market which isn't really expecting a genuinely literate experience. On the other hand, we have this work, in which it seems the author is unaware that the term for a male of the bovine species is 'bull'. So many times we have the 'he-cow' referred to as a cow. Now, once would be annoying, but it is repeated over and over again. Other illiteracies bestrew the prose, too many to either mention or count, be content with the example I've given.
Now we come to the voice performance. I fully understand that Americans conceive of their accent as the 'correct' way to speak English, and for the most part it's not a problem for those of us who are not from that ...'glorious'... nation. You can hear the 'but', can't you? But... I live in England, and have many Irish, Welsh and Scottish friends. This work is filled with characters of a Dwarven race, and the reader has chosen, as many before have done, to render them with what he clearly thinks is a suitable accent. He is sadly mistaken. The vaguely Celtic shadings in the voicing are so badly done I've come to the conclusion that I've got to stop listening, because the rendition is breaking immersion at practically every speech. The accent , from my experience of my friends, wanders randomly around Highland Scots, Glaswegian, Belfast Northern Irish and makes a brief foray into Cardiff Welsh at one point. In the same character. Please, Pavi, find an accent coach, practise a bit! If I were trying to express an American regional accent of ANY kind, that's what I would do! Your reading apart from that is great, but, alas, the accents have ruined to performance for me.
I wish I could be kinder, but, apart from saying that the story ticks along well, and at teast Mr Osgood has written a book, which I haven't, I can't
