I was surprised by the detailed love scenes for a book written nearly 30 years ago. Still had that annoying weaker representation of women that was often in romance books in the 90s but overall I enjoyed this story.

All sorts of exciting things go on in this story, our cowboy falls in love while teying to find who is russeling his cattle and things get nasty with a frightening moment towards the end but thankfully all ends romantically all with hot sex all the way through, enjoy.

Kylie’s style of writing is predictable and boring, I enjoyed some of the mind hunters series by this author in the beginning but gradually realised that the theme/pattern were all the same. Author needs to expand their writing ability to another level to continue to engage the listener. All stories so far are predictable, with aggressive confrontation vs love between the main characters and unbelievable story with a very loose plot. Kylie you need to move on and develop your characters differently, your choice!

Lots of outdated ideas about what’s acceptable behaviour for men. The male lead is pretty dreadful. I wouldn’t bother if I were you.

I did not enjoy narration voices, they felt forced and unnatural. I was often cringying when listening to it and ruined the story for me.

The so-called heroin was totally pathetic when it came to resisting the cowboy.
His behaviour was virtually rape in my view.
