Avoid
There are so many things wrong with this story. If you are a fan of 'PS I love you' then you should avoid listening to this. It seems like completely different characters, just with the same names and a loose link to the first book.
There are a number of discrepancies from the first book, two that spring to mind - in the first book Richard worked in a lab, however in this book he was an accountant. In the first book, it's noted that Denise has known Holly since she was 20. In this book, she went to school with her.
The narrator is AWFUL. She reads so fast, sounds like she is chronically depressed and also so unnecessarily intense throughout. It. Is. Awful. The editing leaves a lot to be desired, there is even a section where the narrator talks to someone off script (chapter 30). It's bizarre.
As a stand alone story it would be fine. But as a sequel to PS I love you, it's just severely lacking. Wouldn't recommend.

Needs a pause....
The book was wonderful - however, the jump from the last sentence into the next chapter is HARSH! You don’t have time to take it in (normally a hard hitting/emotional part) before it seems like she’s yelling the next chapter. The narration is great, I think it’s just the way the chapters have been out together after recording

Chapter separation
There is a lack of separation between chapters.and it really impacts the story, a second more is needed as the powerful endings of each chapter is lost as is moves to the ‘chapter 2, 3 etc’ announcement.

lovely story
I loved the story, such a lovely follow up to ps I love you. The only negative I found was the way the audiobook rushed into every chapter. There was no pause between the end of a chapter and the announcement of the next one which somewhat ruined the story for me. I felt that this did me time to appreciate what I had just heard as 'chapter 20' etc was abruptly announced. it may seem petty but it made the book seem rushed when actually it was a great story.
