Summary

Everybody loves Pixie.

Everybody wants Pixie.

But Pixie needs a Daddy, and his heart is set on me.

I’m determined to resist him, for more reasons than I can count.

He’s too young for me. He’s my employee. And he’s everything I’ve been avoiding for half my life.

He’s vibrant. He’s sweet. He’s absolutely perfect, no matter how much I don’t want him to be.

I want nothing more than to take care of him, to protect him and pamper him...but how can I start something with him when I know I’ll eventually break his heart? Can I really be the Daddy Pixie needs?

Pixie is the fifth and last book in the Ballsy Boys Production series. It can be listened to as a stand-alone, but it’s more fun listening to the series in order.

Resistance is futile!

How did Bear ever think he was going to resist Pixie? The adorable little elf just flutters his lashes at everyone and they are his. Again... a fantastic book by Nora Phoenix and K.M.Neuhold and wonderful narration by Kenneth Obi. I love this series.

Kenneth Obi was amazing

I love the Ballsy Boys series and Pixie was no exception. Phoenix and Neuhold capture the essence of Bear and Pixie perfectly. But Kenneth Obi's narration brought everybody to life, as he has the whole series. He will be missed.

Seamless

This is the first of the Ballsy Boys books that I have read/listened to, even though it's the last in the series. I think it is actually good one to start on! I got a glimpse of all the other "boys" and a smidgen of their stories and guess what?...now I really want to go back and read/listen to all the others.

Pixie is beautifully written and he is adorable. He and Bear are made to go together. Their path to togetherness is littered with stumbling blocks, some of which are quite sad, but all of this makes the outcome so much more pleasurable. These authors write well together and the story flows seamlessly from chapter to chapter.

I often read and listen to alternate chapters as I have some hearing loss. I always find that Kenneth Obi reads clearly and at a good pace no matter which character he is voicing. Even the low, growly voice of Bear caused no problem. Pixie's voice is just right for his character too.

As well as listening to the rest of the Ballsy Boys series, I also want to read the first of the Kinky Boys. I will wait for the audiobook though.

Cute

I loved pixie and bear they sounded awesome . And this one really hit my emotions when he talked about volunteering at hospice I’ve sat by the bedside of many a family members in their last moments. These two are cute and perfect for each other and I love the wrap up at the end. Looking forward to the kinky boys books.

Love Pixie, fabulous series

I’ve loved the Ballsy Boys from the beginning and are my go-to re-read when I need to be cheered up, so Pixie is bitter sweet for me - the end of the Ballsy series but so glad to see Pixie get his man, finally. Beautifully written, as always, these Boys have depth and humour as well as the some Sexy AF scenes - just as we’ve come to expect.
Again, alongside the others in the series, Kenneth Obi knocks the narration out of the park - voices, pace, humour and sexy-bits are all first class. Close your eyes and they could be in your room (or wherever you listen to your audio)
If Pixie is your first Ballsy Boys book - you have to find the rest and listen to them too ❤️

Daddy Bear and his pixie

Pixie is book 5in the Ballsy Boys series by K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix and narrated by Kenneth Obi. This was my favorite in the series when I first read it and the same holds true for the audio. It feels a little slower than the previous books, but I think that has more to do with the fact that you have already heard many of these scenes from the other characters point of view, in the previous books. This probably wouldn’t have been as noticeable to me had I not been listening to the series back to back. All that being said, it’s still my favorite because I have adored Bear and Pixie from book 1 and I couldn’t wait to hear their backstories. I also couldn’t wait to hear it with Kenneth’s narration and boy did he deliver. The growly voice for Bear could not have been better and was exactly what I imagined when I first read it months ago. This was an excellent conclusion to the Ballsy Boys series, and I hope these characters continue to pop up in some of K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix’s other books, as I’m not ready to let them go just yet.

Overall, the story is great, the characters are strong, yet also vulnerable, and the narration is outstanding. If you haven’t started this series yet, click add to cart immediately.

Daddy bear and his boy

With the conclusion of the Ballsey Boys series and the main characters all paired up, it's up to Bear and Pixie to show us the age gap story. Bear grew up in the middle of the AIDS epidemic and when his then 18 year old boyfriend died he made him a promise that till this day he is still keeping. But to what cost. It almost makes him loose the love of his life. Luckily Pixie is not a quitter and goes after what his heart wants. The end has a nice twist which you will enjoy reading. Sad to see the end of this series, but both ladies promised us we will have some more of them in the future. As always Kenneth Obi is the perfect narrator who makes the story come alive and has the perfect daddy and innocent boy voices.

Pixie was totally adorbs!

4.5 Stars!!!

Okay, so full disclosure here, I haven't really read/listened to the other books in the series prior to listening to Pixie. *blushes* Yeah, I know, bad Mari, still, I really enjoyed this one and the glimpses of the other Ballsy Boys we got, are enough that I'll definitely be listening to those pretty soon.

I've been really intrigued by Pixie since Nora started posting teasers back when K.M. and her were writing the book, and I was intrigued how a relationship between Bear and sweet Pixie would go and I loved it for the most part. I was kind of annoyed at Bear for most of the book, because he was so set in his ways and so fixated on the whole age thing. I nearly gave up on him. I mean 5 hours of him pushing Pixie away? Not nice and almost a case of too little, too late, if it hadn't been for Travis's intervention.

Now, Pixie, I loved. He was totally adorbs and just perfect for Bear. For as much as he needed someone to take care of him, he was just what Bear needed to live again and not just survive. He was there to support and care for Bear in a different way than Bear was there for him. And frankly, I loved them together, at least after Bear finally came to his senses. ;)

Kenneth Obi did a great job with Bear and Pixie and the rest of the guys and Travis. I had so much fun with their meddling and with the story, which was more emotional (and had me bawling like a baby a few times) than I expected.

I can't recommend this one enough to all readers who love the Daddy/boy dynamics!

Emotional rollercoaster

Finally, Pixie get his HEA but first he has to get through his Daddy's defenses.
Seeing their struggle was difficult but so worth it in the end because I've become so invested in this series.
Kenneth Obi did an absolutely stellar job narrating this book.
He definitely put me through the wringer and I loved it.
